FastFX is a particle system that runs inside Aseprite. You mess with emitters, gravity, trails and shaders in a live preview, and when it looks right you bake it into actual frames. Real pixels, on a layer, editable like anything else you draw. Comes with 500 presets so you don't have to start from zero.
GhostFrames does inbetweens. You draw the key poses, it generates the frames between them. It won't replace your hand on the final pass, but it gets you from 4 frames to 12 in seconds, and cleaning up is much faster than drawing from scratch.
I built them to work together: block the poses, let GhostFrames fill the motion, add the impact frames with FastFX. It's how I animate everything now.
Heads up before you buy: FastFX works on Windows, macOS and Linux. GhostFrames is Windows and Linux only, and needs a GPU with Vulkan. Both need Aseprite 1.3 or newer.
