Cool stuff, some feedback

I really do like the variety of stuff  available in this game, there's a ton of mazes, playable characters n skins for them (appreciate that the playable cast has different sound effects, even more obscure characters like professor), and my favorite thing out of all of this is that there's bonus modes for Super Pacman and Pac n Pal, two games I fondly remember. As cool as all of this is, I do have some things to say:

  • I primarily use an Xbox One controller to play games like this, using the DPad to navigate the menu is cool and all but not having the joystick be able to do the same (by default at least, I know there's settings for an alt button) feels a bit iffy
  • Controls ingame feel a bit slippery at times when trying to make turns, especially on faster speeds / gamemodes (playing the Super Pacman bonus mode often, I notice I try to take some turns, do so for a split second, but then turn back off into somewhere I wasn't trying to go, and/or doesn't turn at all). Maybe it's just me having a skill issue or something, but I feel like it happens more often than it should.
  • Perhaps there could be a feature to shuffle between songs available in the game for each level? I know the music can be changed on the fly in the pause menu, but having the game just be able to pick at random or from a certain list between levels would make the game feel less repetitive to me at least.

Overall, I appreciate what's all available. For what's considered just a demo, there's a lot more offered here than in many other fangames I've looked at. Keep up the good work!

Heyo! Thanks for that feedback, and sorry for the late answer.
I'm glad you love the game content so far, your feedback is very appreciated!

First of all, for the analog controls, I didn't set any by default, as I got so many conflicts with default analog axis being different from a controller to another, so, none is set by default until I find a way to get a sort of reference list that the game could pick up from when a new controller is detected so it sets the proper controls.

For the controls, I tried to do something very snappy and buffered, but I noticed that a lot of people struggle to navigate at high speed, although,I don't know how to fix that yet, I need to dig up and test further.

For the playlist system, it's a feature planned for upcoming versions of the game, as it got requested a lot but I couldn't make it in time for the Demo 1 release.

Thank you again for your feedbacks so far!
