v2.8.2

Okay, so it my first time here, and there is something i'd like to share.

Not sure if i miss something, but first 30-60 minutes i was like "why i can't do anything  but only cutting wood. Its took me this all time to find just by myself (whatever tutorial was turned ON).

- there is a SHOP and money is not a rare high-valueable item and i can just get more money from selling items in Treasuary (so its not a problem for wrong buying and spend all the moneys)

- whatever tutorial said i can do several tasks at same time (??) - i can do only one task of only one tool is equipped ! Also i had to manually switch tools in the "main hand" to do something else

- tutorial needs to be more demonstrative by highlighing screen areas and "lead by the hand" step-by-step

- tutorial said "oh you have a shop now!" much later than i actually had the shop unlocked

- i really do not like idea of i had to put items into backpack so items will be available for crafting (and etc) and this items like "i have it but its is in the Treasury so i can't use it anywhere but only sell or manually put into backpack!

There is a thing about making game UI/UX, the name i do not remember, but idea is about "do not make the user/gamer do more interactions than its really can not be done another way. Like think about any action of user is cost of money. One click - one dollar. Mouse move - 1 dollar per 100 pixels of cursor traveled. The less user "pay money" - the lessidea comes to user to think about "its not a good game".

- whatever i did not use building option in the Village i'm already do not like to see looooong list after click on the Slot 1.

Also is there a way do store all images just on user side? With some my internet issues images/icons not always show up.

Thanks for the feedback! To be honest, the game’s tutorial is very old and not updated properly, an update is coming soon to overall the tutorial, sorry for the inconvenience…

The game does allow for multiple actions at once, once you reach certain areas and perform a quest, you’ll receive a Arcane Assistant, this will allow multiple actions at once.

About the building board slots, yes, the long list is not very good, I’ll be working on a way to show it differently, that doesn’t require a list and lots of scrolling around to find what you need. The same goes for the Gems socketing system.

I’m well aware of the UI/UX thing you’re talking about and the ins and outs of player inventory and treasury items. The user must be able to do more with less clicks, it turns out to be very difficult to balance this out for players that want interaction and immersion and for players that want a more relaxed way, not many clicks, just hovering over the game and eveything flowing as expected without the need to player interaction. This will still be studied in the versions to come.

About images and icons being saved on user side, I’ll see what I can do.

Ty again for the feedback, this is valuable information and for certain it will be used to guide me in the next updates.

Hey! v2.8.3 just landed with some of this issues handled.

  • Shop tutorial popup now fires the moment the Shop unlocks (level 15), not 15 levels later.
  • Multi-skill tutorial line now points to the Arcane Assistant as the gate for parallel actions.
  • Old level-20 line falsely claimed three concurrent actions — now corrected.

I'd like to add one point about the UI. Why isn't it possible to equip things from the character/equipment menu? That's where you have a good overview of what you actually have equipped. Going to the treasury, finding what you can equip, remembering what you already have equipped, and then equipping what you want is much more cumbersome than just doing it from the equipment menu. It might seem like a small thing, but it's the kind of thing that can make me stop playing a game and finding another game with better design.

Edit:

I also wonder why you even have to equip task-specific equipment for everything. It's just another several clicks every time you want to change what you're doing. It's not like you're going to change what you use. It's always going to be the best axe if you want to chop wood, so the act of changing equipment every single time is just busy work with no purpose.

Hey! v2.20.6 has landed with a click to equip on a empty equipment slot to directly equip items that you have and can equip. The task-specific equipment still goes. You can craft a belt, this will ease the burden of having to switch tools. Better belts, more tools can be attached. You can attach tools to a belt in Character > Equipment tab when a belt is equiped.
