Its very likely that this game is considered "complete" for now its been a while since the last update and the dev worked on another project it was abandoned but that shows the dev most likely moved on. (I know you probably already knew that already but this reply is good for the people reading these forums for info)
The game has all endings, achievements and characters implemented and I dont see much reason for further expansion aside from bug fixes and qol.
