How does the game fit the theme?
You’re just a hungry opossum with one goal: get that biscuit. Problem is, every rat and critter in your way wants you gone. Fight, bite, and scramble your way to the holy snack, because sometimes you really do gotta risk it for the biscuit.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
None

How many people worked on the game?

I love the idea. Just not the gameplay. Here is how I would change the fighting. Have your mouse dictate the direction the character is facing so you can back away and still throw bites at the enemy. The attacks need to be sped up or something. I feel like when I click the button, the attack doesn't land until a second later. And add jumping.

I see great potential with this. Love the idea.

There is a lot of great aspects to the game, graphics and animations look amazing, game loop and upgrade system work nicely. Some feedback on attack would be great and it felt like sometimes the input was not doing anything and it wasn't obvious why. Of course SFX would always be nice touch. Great work on the game!

The art style is what stood out to me the most - it's really unique and charming.  I got kicked out, but had so much fun. After my comment, I'm going to play again!  Nice entry!!

Man i do love the game concept! But here some of my opinion for the game. The attack mechanic is solid and responsive, yet it lack of feedback. Adding up change color when get hit, stop at a time, and giving sfx will pretty good! That's all from me, nice done!

This is such a shame in my opinion. I love the graphics and the artwork so much. The mouse certainly has the charm to it. The animation also feels nicely done too. The combat system pairs nicely with the animation, but if the animations were a bit faster, had clearer timing of attack and hurt boxes, it would be much more enjoyable. Another thing is that the game throws you directly into the action without any setups and tutorials makes understanding how to play a bit harsh. I for one point thought the first enemy was the tutorial dummy :( Also, the elephant in the room is that the game really hurts by lacking any music and sound effects, just a bit of that added would be really nice.

Anyway still, good job in making the game. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the constructive criticism! Honestly, this was our first time, and there were some problems in production especially in the communication part so it got all tangled up during the last days! ;w; We will definitely take note of this, and hopefully improve <3

The visuals are fantastic! I especially loved the character art and the menu!

I did miss having some SFX during gameplay, and the left-click attack felt a bit tricky because of the delay.
That said, the game was fun overall and definitely shows a lot of potential. Congrats!

A nice game! I liked the gameplay loop and the art. It would have been better with some music and SFX. Nice work overall!

First, the art style is cute! It's great to look at, through the gameplay doesn't feel great. SFX for the attacks and a goal conveyed to the player would feel great! Enemies didn't look like they were attacking me, my health going down was how I figured out I was being attacked. The animation frames look great, but the biggest thing that would make this game feel awesome would be looking at all the attack bits and making animations play smoother (probably faster?).

Keep the adorable biscuit gremlin!

Very beautifull artstyle def a pro artist here!! I really missed those audio sounds like those smack sounds or kick sounds would made the game so much fun!! I had problems with attacking it was bit hard it didn't register my mouse always but that's just me and my laptop!

Overal this game has it's good points to be a wonderful story driven fight game!

Fantastic and cute art style along with great UI and animations. Some audio or visual cues would have been useful to give some feedback as to when I was getting hit or when enemies were.
