Nice game, a couple bugs but nothing that can't be managed.
Also, you don't need an exit button on the main menu for a web game, in Godot, it just freezes the game. I learnt that the hard way with my Godot game.

How does the game fit the theme?
You need to build your party to survive in the Wastes, but certain people are untrustworthy. It is up to you to figure out who to trust.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used the Dialogue Manager plugin for Godot, as well as my personal game template which includes an options menu, a scene manage, and some UI functions.
