Yes, you press F to start charging the gate, which spawns the boss. Once the gate is charged and the boss is defeated, you can go through :)

About the gate - didn't you get a button prompt to press F?

This game is simply astonishing in its detail and how comprehensive the mechanics are. I played for quite a while, and feel like I barely scratched the surface of what this has to offer. Absolutely one to watch, I was very impressed. It's quite an interesting take on the turn based RPG genre, and I also love the details of the conversations with people in each town, and how it offers not only tips for gameplay, but also life advice haha! It oozes heart, and is very fun to play, and I fully expect I'll be back for more.

For criticism - I also agree that there could be a bit more tutorialising. I was able to basically figure it out over time, but I was primarily guessing at what to do for a while.

That particular test is asking you to rotate so that the UP arrow is facing up. It should pass once the arrow is facing up in your perspective :)

Thank you dude! Feel we bit off a bit more than we could chew for the jam, but we'll definitely be seeing this one through beyond. Hope to see you there :)

This game is just so chill. I planted so many flowers. I almost made it to the last upgrade - the water tank - but the game crashed when I went to grab another seed. I just couldn't stop planting! I had a lot of fun flying the drone around, though, and searching for minerals and organics. I actually accidentally sent a mineral flying into the sea, and managed to follow it underwater and retrieved it. Loved it!

I couldn't quite figure out the gameplay, but wow the graphics are good! Serious vibes

This was quite intriguing, though it feels a tad rushed and incomplete. Still, the atmosphere was good, and the horror pacing worked.

Man this game can be quite chaotic at times! Lol just loads of ships firing at each other, it's hilarious. Cool game :)

I absolutely adore the vibe of this game!

This is very promising! I love the art style, and the stealth mechanics :)

So glad you liked it! It means a lot to hear that. We'll be developing this further, so watch out for updates :)

Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, we do indeed intend to build this out to a full release. Watch this space!

I loved the mechanical depth of this game! Platforming, stamina management, stealth - it was really well done for a jam game. Would love to see it with more detailed graphics and some sound!

What a lovely little game! The idea was so creative, and executed with such flair. Loved my time playing it :)

The JRPG combat system was really well put together! I couldn't quite find the boss, though haha!

I absolutely loved this one! The visual style, music, and mechanics were all top-notch. My only complaint is the camera - it's too close to the cat, too low, and moves too much in tandem with it. A wider, higher angle, with more smoothing would complete this for sure.

Thank you! Really happy you liked it

Thanks for your comment :)

Glad you like the wall run, that was a satisfying mechanic to implement. You're right about that dash bugginess, hopefully can get that fixed in some post jam updates.

This was a great learning experience for sure. Still some bugs present in this, but some cleanup could bring this to a good standard. Looking forward to more jamming :)

I was quite impressed with this one. The mechanics are satisfying, the challenge is perfectly balanced, the story and atmosphere perfectly combine with the mechanics and world design - I loved this. I also appreciate the appropriately written (or chosen) music. All around, very well made RPG.

You have a very interesting and entertaining gameplay mechanic here, but I feel that the implementation is just slightly too fiddly. Other than that, I was very impressed by the graphics and the tactile UI of the TV. It was quite cute.

A very creative concept! My one complaint is that the turning has far too narrow a window in my opinion. I'm quite a fan of the game otherwise.

There are some very interesting gameplay ideas here, but I jsut couldn't quite make sense of it all. I found the atmosphere very engaging though, and the world you created. The combat was also a bit confusing and maybe balanced too harshly. All in all though, some cool ideas I'd enjoy seeing fleshed out.

I found the graphics quite charming, and pets are an automatic cute vote, but I think the gameplay is sadly a bit lacking. The Tetris minigame is well implemented, though it's hard to see its relevance to the pet. The sound effects are a bit loud, and the lack of music is a missed opportunity. I see potential in the concept, though, and some more polish would take this concept to the next level.

Amazing artwork, great music, and really interesting combat mechanics. This is an incredible effort.

I loved it! The highlight was definitely your creative use of... acapella, lmao! Very solid platforming, and I like how you change up the atmosphere and gravity. Great game, dude!

I found the story intriguing, but maybe the execution is a little linear. The music perfectly matches the mood, though, and the audio is spot on. I'd definitely like to see where you take this!

Glad you liked it! Yeah, it's just set to 64x64 and stretched. You're right about the signs - maybe in a future version I could add helper text, or scale it back up :P

Thanks so much! Really glad to hear you liked it.

Haha I promise, my project is set at 64x64! Thanks a lot for your review.  I will go check your project out now :)

Thank you so much! Maybe I need to work on the difficulty haha.

We're working on the kind of feedback you mention now. Definitely something we need - so it's good you brought it up. Thanks for playing :)

You're very right about the events. We're still working on adding more, as they will be the backbone of t he game. Glad you enjoyed it, though. Thanks!

As for YouTube, check out GDQuest and Gamesfromscratch :)

This will be absolutely fine. Itch even supports the hosting of web builds, which is great.

Dude! This game is AWESOME! You did all this all by yourself? Awesome! It's really cool, the world you built, the enemies, the magic... The story that's suggested throughout but not entirely obvious. Good job.

Dude, this game is hilarious.

Oh, what made you leave Discord?
