The game's very fun! It reminds me a lot of Hotline Miami.  I would have probably zoomed out a bit from the player and changed the moving scheme to be independent from the player's facing direction. Overall good!

First of all, thanks a lot for the indept review, I loved reading through this. So for the first criticism, the reason the spikes don't hurt enemies is for balancing reasons and to put more pressure on the player to bring them to buy more items (they're primary reason for being included was because my brother told me that the player didn't really have a reason to jump lol). But for the second one, god you're so right. That's something we'll absolutely change when we get our hands back in this project, as long with much more polish. Thanks again for the review!

You don't know how happy I am to see this review: all trough playtesting and even playing with friends every weapon was someone's favorite except for the standard gun. I'm really happy that it found it's place with someone, even if it was to the detrement of other weapons lol.

Thanks! The idea to use a goblin was a mix of Salmone's humor and the song "SEVEN GOBLINS" by Masayoshi Takanaka lol.

That's one of the weapons of the game the "goblin potion/goblin gun"! We're sorry if we didn't convey it very clearly... we put a text next to the level to show that the potion is a weapon but it probably should have been flashier.

We were thinkingof adding a fourth enemy kind of like a turret, but in the end we ran out of time. Thanks for the pleasant review tho, really cool seeing one of the bigger developers in the jam giving us a chance!

Cool game! I like the setting and mechanics. The only problem I had is that at first I really didn't understand which words I could redact and which I couldn't but I kind of figured it out.

I really liked the core concept! And I loved the different speels! My only wish is that i could scroll between them with the mouse wheel. Good game!

This game looks AMAZING! I like the game loop of the standard game, but I don't really get feedback when I win a round (I think I win them at least, like, he bets 7 6 and I call, I think I'm winning). Also the game is kinda laggy on my end, but idk if it's a me problem. Overall good job!

I had some problems understanding the game flow and actions of the enemies and characters, I didn't even realize I was betrayed at the end until the screen told me! Overall, the idea is super cool, maybe too ambitous for the jam? I can see the effort and the vision tho.

I had some problems distinguishing who actually wanted candy form the people that didn't but in the end I pulled through for some days. I like the concept and the art very much!

I love gambling on a "shoot self" lol. Btw there's a problem where when you load rounds the gun overs on the number of blank rounds, nothing gamebreaking but I just wanted to point it out.

THE POLISH IS INSANE, I liked the story, it was conveyed well. I would have liked if the characters silhouettes were a little bit bigger. Overall great!
