Loved the vibe of this one, some of the generated posts were hilarious. Clicked nuke account just to see and it was well worth it :y

Love the early 2000s aesthetic!

Submitted

I love the visuals! Creating posts was really fun too! Great job, this is an amazing game!

Submitted

posted "the league keeps getting away with the traffic on the ring road" and watched it get flagged unshockable because nothing in it connects, which is such a smart way to model fake news. the win98 desktop chaos sells the whole bit, i kept going back, good job

The glitch feature made a lot of things hard to read, especially on non-fullscreen mode. That being said, its a cool concept that I'd love to see developed further! Creating sometimes nonsense posts like "Your landlord used your money on half the internet" was very entertaining

parliament keeps talking about the bird flu! #true
The screen is so active and some of the things you see being posted are quite funny.
Very original! The screen got a bit too noisy for me after a while. (dark mode??)

Developer (1 edit)

hehe yeah I should add a disable glitch feature. Maybe I should add more speech fragments. Did you get to the part where you can buy more fragments?

Really original, love the artisitic direction you took, had fun playing and fits the theme well!

Cool and very original game, well done !

I liked the computer interface.

I was more addicted than I thought I would lol. I carried a lot of suspicion, but it did numbers lol. Maybe the growth was a bit slow even with the items from the shop?

Developer

Infact, local versions unlock offline progress at 750 followers, but it does increase suspicion which was a feature I intended to remove. I am polishing up the lasts bits and getting phone based files tho

vintage aesthethic, pretty neat

I got instantly terminated right upon starting, which completely threw me off for a second! But after that, it turned into pure "shitposting: the game."

It is definitely a very UI-heavy experience, but I love how authentically you captured that nostalgic Windows 98 aesthetic, especially with how gloriously out-of-place modern social media looks inside it! :D

If you ever want to give this whole concept a truly unhinged, chaotic spin: try adding a multiplayer mode!

Super unique entry!

Developer

the initial throw off is intentional I had 30 extra mins so why not

Developer (1 edit)

I was born way after 98, so I had to do a crap ton of learning here. HELLS YEAH ON THAT MULTIPLAYER

Submitted

When I first saw the UI, I got intimidated because it was so cluttered

Developer

Mb dawg yeah I get it but I didn’t feel like hamburger menu and the hamburger menu keep resetting stats even tho I used auto load and persistence keys

Submitted

Oww, I see. You still did a great job nonetheless my friend
