How does the game fit the theme?
In Accomplice, the player is asked to help a prisoner who claims to be innocent. Throughout the game, the player must trust the prisoner's words and assist him in escaping. However, the final reveal shows that the prisoner is not who he claimed to be, forcing the player to question every decision they made. The entire experience is built around the theme "Trust No One", where trust becomes the central mechanic and the player's judgment determines the ending.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Sketchfab - used for model
Pixabay - used for audio and sound effects
and also assets from unity asset store.

Being the security camera helping the prisoner escape was such a clever concept, and that ending nailed the theme! super solid entry

Developer

I really appreciate you liked the game and the concept of it. Thankyou!!

This looks gooood! I wish thare was a linux build ;-;

Developer(+1)

I wish I could submit a Linux version as well.

Really cool concept! I liked the camera perspective, and the ending fits the “Trust No One” theme really well. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the game.

Really cool story! I did run into a small issue though — in the second level, my character got stuck in the doorway and I couldn’t get out, so I ended up getting stuck there🥲

Developer

Yeah it happens when you press E button before the player stops its walking and quiet a people have faced that issue. And I am very sorry about that.

But I appreciate you liked the story! Thanks man.

The idea of being a camera guiding the prisoner is great, and the ending nails the theme. There’s a timing bug that gets in the way, but it’s still fun and leaves you wanting more

Developer(+1)

Thankyou bro! I appreciate you liked the idea

Awesome concept!

Developer

Thankyou very much!

Nice concept and very enjoyable!

Cool idea making the player basically a security camera helping the prisoner out. Dragging stuff with the mouse and using E to guide him through the prison was simple but worked well, even if the timing bug got me once. The ending fits the Trust No One theme nicely haha, good job!

Developer

Thankyou I'm happy you liked the game. Appreciate it

while the concept is quite simple, its very unique and i think it makes the game very very enjoyable :3

Developer

Thanks man appreciate your kind words really.

I like the approach with the games perspective

Cool game!

Nice and simple game. would like to see more levels and different mechanics in the future if you continue making this game. Great work!

Cool Theme! Some of the timing for the button prompt to the character movement is off so I got stuck a couple times because I pressed e before the character finished moving and then they wouldn't move. Music and visuals were cool. Would live to see more puzzles.

It’s a cool game, and it’s awesome that it’s 3D  that deserves respect. Rate my game too

Really cool game concept, I would love to see more interaction if you had more time!

Developer

Had plans for some really cool interaction for the player. But couldn't do it as I didn't have enough time.

Submitted(+1)

I feel that. I would change so much

Submitted(+1)

Really nice take on the theme! Building the puzzle-escape mechanic around trusting a prisoner, only to pull the rug out at the end, is such a great concept. Impressive that you managed to pull all of this together solo for the jam. Great work!

I love your take on this theme, that prison mood really hooked me in playing more, overall, great experience, good job for doing it alone, that's impressive !

Developer

Thankyou! I appreciate your kind words.

I wish I had time to make all the things I had planned to. But anyways.

Making a player a camera is actually a really good idea! There is a small bug where the prisoner gets stuck. But overall, it's a nice game!

Developer

Thankyou! I'm glad to liked the camera idea .

And yeah when you press the button before the player reaches and stops the further movement is stopped. That's the big quiet a people have faced couldn't really do anything about it as of now. But good that you were able to flag it. Thanks again.

Wow, it's a great idea for the player to be the security camera determining the prisoner's actions in-game. I unlocked the ending and I got an arrested as an accomplice, that was fun. I think I only noticed the trust no one element being applied at the end by letting the prisoner free.

Developer(+1)

Yeah!! I had many plans for the game to make it more interactive so that players have much more than this to do. But I really couldn't do it as the deadline for submission was near.

But I am very happy that you finished the game and liked it. Appreciate it man!!
