Smooth brain couldnt get past the first door here haha!

Sizing is broken for me. When not full screen I cant see the whole thing and when fullscreen Something is covering the bottom half of the screen when I talk to darkness.

Nice work! This game had me hooked right away!

Couldnt figure out the recruitment. One round I got to lvl 4 never got a third guy. Another round I got 2 per level lol.

* OHHH its if you dont kill them on the battle field and they switch sides! Nice!

Lol we did the same concept :)
I enjoyed your game it was def better in full screen!
I noticed that I could keep playing even after 3 X's
Art style was nice and same with sound design. I struggled with both of those.

Great job!

I am also a beginner at game dev. In fact, this is both my first jam and first game that isn't from a course or tutorial.

My game:

I had fun playing this. I just wish I could play with the sensitivity, other than that great job!

This is really well done literally made me jump a few times haha! Good job!

Thanks :) Never actually played papers please but I have heard of it

this is cute!

This is a good game I couldnt beat lvl 10 been on it for 10 mins closes I got one 2 tiles away hah

Nice work! odds need some work as I bet 3000 and won 4500 so its 1.5x where it should be 5x since theres 5 horses. Or you could have the odds for each round be on the betting screen. Like for example this round red will pay out 20x cause the odds are that green is going to win! some serious math goin on haha. Anyways loved the aesthetics of this game retro arcade... sick!

Nice it works on html in full screen! I could only get to lvl 2 or 3 as its a pretty small area to move around and the Zeds are fast from wave 2 on! Nice job on your first game! Its my first game and jam as well! Have fun and keep at it!

Yea I tried UE like 2 years ago and that was harder than this feels haha.

I always wanted to design games but never really got into it. Not for the lack of trying, just always want to build massive games *bane of my brain*. So recently, I picked up Unity to give it yet another try and discovered Unity Learn. Finished the first two courses (essentials and jr.Programmer). I heard game jams were fun and a good way to dive into the deep end and learn a lot fast. So thats what I did, I found this one and even tho I joined with just 4 days remaining its been fun so far. I just hope to finish my first-ever game on time haha. I went a style/gameplay direction I didnt think I would ever go as I am personally a graphics kinda guy but I know thats way out of the picture for me right now haha. Anyway just wanted to introduce myself, I go by Quick. Today was the second day of work and I finished most the sprites and code. Tomorrow I will polish and add SFX also start/end/pause menus. Thanks for reading if you did :)
