How does the game fit the theme?
If you want to escape from a psychiatric hospital, you shouldn't trust anyone—not even yourself.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
There wasn't any.

Straightforward platforming mechanics paired with an interesting setting; the asylum escape concept worked really well.
It could just be my version, but i couldn't really get through because I couldn't get past the guys (because some of the interactable objects didn't work). I like the UI elements and backgrounds a lot, but the controlls felt a little bit wonky.
It's great how they integrated the theme with the setting and game mechanics.
It's true that it's a bit tedious that when the character interacts with something, they freeze, and then due to enemy patrols, they collide and lose, forcing you to start over in a loop.
Otherwise, the project is fantastic.
It's got pretty cool concepts but the game is fairly janky with when you can use items and how long your stuck like with the painting teleporting and then being frozen without being able to run in time isn't fun for me, but there's alot of potential here guys! ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
It’s not bad, but I think the gameplay could be more dynamic. Maybe I’m missing something, and if the slow pace was intentional, then that’s fine.
Simple platformer. I like the take on trying to escape from a psychiatric hospital.
I think the levels could have been designed a little better, at one point I felt like I was waiting a very long time for one of the guards (?) to walk pass, and I have no idea what the medicine I picked up did. Missing a little audio.
Good job on the rest of it!
would be nice if it could run in full screen!
The hitboxes of the "guards" are a beat not accurate. A beat simple, but in general, i like it.
