The fog-of-war vision cone effect looks really great, and top-down shooters are definitely my vibe, but the gameplay loop started to feel a bit repetitive after a while.

A few suggestions that could really help elevate the experience:

  • An option to speed up or fast-forward text boxes
  • More player mechanics and movement options, such as a dash
  • The ability to equip and swap between multiple weapons

Really solid foundation with a great vibe overall!

Yeah, I agree that the gameplay loop gets repetitive. I was faced a lot of scope creep during this project and had originally planned for there to be way more elements in the game. All three of your suggestions would be good, and I also wish I could've added more challenges to the game such as group robberies. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

Fun and satisfying game, I enjoyed it! I liked how the enemy goblins could interact with the environment and pick up lost guns, that was a nice touch. Good work!

Thanks!

The little gobblin guys are so cute! I didn't process the guns initially and got a big shock when bullets started flying!!! Great work with this.

Thank you!
