Theme interpretation
unfortunately I was unable to add it in time but you would have been able to combine mechs together for better stats and weapons.

Players Notice
There is currently a big bug where the enemy will stop moving when you are close. Also the space bar confirms the attack.

The music and SFX are really nice! The game had some stuff going for it in its current state, though it is unfortunate that you didn't manage to implement everything that you wanted to. Currently, the game lacks from not giving the player any info on understanding how everything works, and you are just left to figure it out yourself. As for the gameplay itself, it would feel smoother if you confirm attack with left click as opposed to spacebar. I would also like it if you could select a tank by clicking its location on the screen, instead of needing to click on the image in the UI.

It’s sad to read about the enemy bug and not be able to implement the mechanic because the 3 levels I played made the concept interesting or left me wanting to play the game with the bugs fixed. It would be nice to know you have 2 turns per machine, I like that you can see the attack range of each one. It would be nice to see when you can’t move a machine anymore in the turn and I think you shouldn’t be able to finish your turn in the middle of a movement

The visuals are good and the music is chill, the song doesn’t seem to loop once it’s finished, but the pink machine is very strong and I like it

I don’t have much to say and thanks for sharing! :)

I see the idea, scope was maybe a bit big for the jam? Am happy to have waited for the enemies to be able to fight back atleast. Big map with lots of enemies would have been fun too! :D

& As said in VC; the grid style movement is something I want to get going in my first actual out of jam project in the new engine. As I really want to make a fire-emblem-like.

Had a hard time figuring out what to do in the game. I was able to finish the first level, but I'm not sure how to end a turn, even if no more actions can be taken. Maybe there was still more actions I can do, but since feedback inside the game was lacking I wasn't able to figure out how to do them.

Music was good, but lacking sound effects and visual effects. Bot visuals were ok but a lot of elements were a bit obscure to what they communicate.
