This is really cool! I loved the art style, the pixel shader, and the overall vibe of the game! If I had to give any critiques, it would be that the loop seems a little long, which makes the game drag on a little. Really nice job!

Quite moody! I like the look and feel of the game, the anomaly part is very hard to detect, but then again I'm not really good at these kinds of games either. Also - I think the fact that that poor woman runs barefoot is enough of an anomaly as it is
Good atmosphere, reminds me of a real place - the 99 steps of Great Malvern leading up into the Malvern Hills. Spooky in the fog!

tbh, I didn't get far though, never understood what got me to 100/800 nor what reset it back to 0/800.
Love the touch of trying to leave suddenly having you climbing again :D
Might try it again with a fresher head in a while.
