Thanks Linh! Appreciated
Excellent!!! Brilliant work, I truly enjoyed this, thank you, 5 stars!
Thanks Johnny - appreciate it! I developed this on mac (and some linux) too, so have benefited directly from all your hard work on PGE3.0! Thank you!!
No Thank you, I'm delighted it worked for you

Wow this looks incredible! Nice work! I'd love to see the source code for how you utilized PGE3!
I'm also glad you posted the link to the place you got your shaders. I want to learn more about how to use them and that site has lots of cool tutorials.
Thanks AJ! Happy to share the code once I've tidied things up a bit post jam. If it's the shaders you are interested in, then I have done a "Super Simple" shaders example in the PGE3 subdirectory. That is basically drop in and use for any other shaders you want to add to PGE3. Super easy to you API :) Looking forward to checking out your entry this weekend.
Ok that is awesome, I will definitely check that out! Thanks for the tip!
Overall, neat concept and good execution - the art is nice as well. I wasn't exactly sure what to do at first, but figured it out after a couple minutes, and the UI was very nice.
I ran into performance issues though, buy not immediately. At first the game ran fine, but over time it slowly degraded. it never crashed, and I was able to progress through several levels, increase my play area, etc. but the audio noticeably slowed down as well as the UI. It did this just looking at the intro screen as well, so I don't think it was just because I increased the world size.
Thanks hassmaschine! I've updated the build to use PGE3 sprite batching, and minimise shader switching. This massively reduces the number of draw calls. If you get a chance, It would be very helpful to know if this fixes the performance issues you are seeing! Thanks :)
Tried again, got all the way to "game over", no performance issues - so I think you fixed it. :D
