I am trapped forever >.<
Well done this is great fun, I didn't escape tho :(
Finally!! Quit Game .. clever and fun when you try to guess did you design a map && associating word and sentence the hint is related as the sentence ?
Quick answer: yes. It you are interested you can look at the code in the github repo for the game. You can fin the link in the comments below or in the ith.io web page of this "game".
Ahh, you shared the source code!! I didn't know that! That's why I reverse-engineered your binary to find the solution. It was really fun—there were so many decoys in the binary too. Honestly, you could've kept the source closed and challenged people to reverse-engineer it!
I got out! Woohoo!
ha ha, this made me chuckle! Is there an end? I think I found Quit Game, but went back to the beginning :)
We didn't have time to create a "You made it!!" with some score window after you clik on the "Quit Game" menu item... so yeah, it feels weird.
Eccentric, relevant, I like the theme of desktop pop ups in games, and I had an aha moment. A shame it's so short, maybe it could benefit from a few more puzzles, otherwise I think it's my favorite entry so far. You shoud really make a web version before the weekend, considerably more people would play it, and not having enough ratings lowers the score a lot too
I do not know how to do a web version... lol
Just managed to compile a web version. Thanks for the comments and tips!!
Is there a code repro people could build for their target hardware? I don't have a way to run this at home.
Yep. The project's web (https://wowlinh.itch.io/exitme2) gives the github link to the actual release (https://github.com/Di4l/olcCodeJAM26/releases/tag/v0.1-alpha), and from there you could navigate to the code: https://github.com/Di4l/olcCodeJAM26
I have to say that we have only compiled it in Linux and Windows, and did not try to compile it for any other platform.
