This is great fun, once I had a few upgrades! I got to Level 4 :)

You almost got it, the point is to complete as many levels as you can as this is what is displayed in the final score, just you can also use collected... birds for a more powerful but limited attack if you reverse first orbit with z or keypad 1
Ohh I see now! Yeah that is way more interesting using the reverse mechanic
