I played longer than I usually would. Good effort for a first-time tool. I wish there were an indicator which level I was on. I’m pretty sure I completed four, but… did I? That was fun anyway.

The vibe reminds me of the old slenderman games from like 20 years ago. Nice!

Thanks! That was definitely an inspiration!

I appreciate the AI disclosure - uhh, I actually really liked this.  It gave me strong survivor horror/backrooms vibes.  Like, I couldn't quite finish the last level, and every door I went through I wasn't sure if I had been there before.  and there were some definitely creepy moments.  Definitely potential with jump scares / music, and puzzle elements that stress the player out.

I wouldn't change the asset style at all, rather, I would lean into it.  In one room there was a clock that was placed far off the wall, and you could see the shadow.  I liked the repeating portraits (whatever that was).

Thanks! Yeah, I think now that I understand how Godot works and what kinds of things are available in gdscript, I'm going move away from AI. I think we will continue this project; it was really fun concept for us to work on, and like you said, there's a lot of potential for puzzles. At the very least, we want to get a working enemy in the game.

Nice mood, simple and eery.
