You need to move, the price is stamina! If you move, you lose some, if you run, you lose more, if you attack an enemy...YOU LOSE A LOT! You need to also escort your egg to a safe place. the price is you cant attack enemies while doing so. The biggest price of all? Your life, you must sacrifice yourself to save your egg in order to win the game.
Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?

I loved the art style. The graphics and animation were great.
I felt the mechanics were not telegraphed well - I had a number of times I died to losing all of my stamina, and couldn't figure out why. The Game Over screen saying "You Ran Out of Stamina" or "You Drowned" or "You were eaten by raptors" would help clearly convey to the player what they did wrong. You could also have the game pause when the tutorial text comes up, as a number of times I had to run back to the correct spot to read the tutorial pop-up. I can see some players missing it entirely.
Finally, the chiptune music was really enjoyable, but a bit loud. An option to mute or reduce volume would really help. In addition something to add in the future that could really add to the atmosphere would be some sound effects, growls from the dinos, a collision effect when you smash a raptor, etc.
Hope the feedback is helpful and thanks for the submission! I had fun with it :)
I also got stuck at the log because I didn’t know you could kill enemies. Maybe placing the tutorial for attacking enemies in right front of the first enemy wasn’t a good idea. I kept jumping over him from the tree which made me miss the tip entirely
The music was fantastic! That airy flute(?) sound really added to the prehistoric vibe and the fast paced drums made me feel the pressure of the approaching meteor
Loved the graphics, and the ending with the short cutscene was a nice touch.
Great job!
Sorry, but how do I submit a my GDD?
You just have to make a google docs or anything that can be shared publicly with read access. Like this: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Vl7BMvzUOhbunJrI_X1gUc6x-LAp3aaBiPwHUf27B70/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.lr899156xjnx
I love the cute style of pixel art. The animations were gorgeous. The music is cute. Very nice visuals.
The sprint mechanic - at first ngl I did not read correctly. I was stuck by the guy on the log. The moment I realised you can sprint to attack….I won.
Very cute game. I am a good dino mommy.
Thanks for playing! I agree, the popup instructions were literally made in the last 1 hour of development lol. I hope to broaden this game with some easier to see instructions in the future! I'm sure you were the best Dino Mommy!
Quick thinking for an hour of dev work!
