Design Statement
The theme brought to mind quiet studying at a local cafe.
We are a team of graduate students pursuing a career in
graphics engineering and have in interest in learning more about shaders.
This lead to Coffee Break. Simulating latte art procedurally!
Embedding Coffee Break into the browser was a high priority for the team.
We investigated a few options and ultimately decided to try and implement
the project with just a rendering library. After some experimentation we settled
on threejs. The shader algorithm was the majority of the work completed.
We are excited to show what we’ve accomplished and are looking forward to feedback!

Cool game, AI usage kinda ruined it for me.
A rather fun concept! I enjoyed messing around with all the different tools to create abominations one might call artwork. And as a tea fanatic myself I was pleasantly surprised to see a teacup option!
I feel what would've made this project really pop would be some background ambiance, something akin to the theme that would bring to mind, as you said yourself in the design statement: "quiet studying at a local cafe."
It’s essentially a coffee-making simulator. There’s no fancy interface, and the graphics aren’t top-notch. But the game’s concept is excellent—I see potential here!
