Really addicting! The art is beautiful and it feels really good to fire the guns. I think the twist that you can only damage monsters your own size was funny!
Pretty fun game! Overall the game feels pretty polished, especially the balancing seems pretty nice. It's good that while you can't damage enemies that are smaller/bigger than you, they still receive knockback. Only the dash for the small size feels a bit weak imho, maybe it needs to be a bit longer
amazing work, feels very polished and fun to play!
This is such a polished game, great work! If I may give a few suggestions:
Great feel with all the weapons and size. It is very nice how balanced the game is and how every size of ennemy needs a different way of playing to be defeated instead of being a simple resize of the asset. The abilities seemed useless in the first round but became crucial as the game continued which is also a super clever design trick to keep the game entertaining. Great work across the board thank you so much !
For some reason I could not see the special effects (blood / etc.), but other than that the game idea is pretty good and the gameplay loop is solid. Maybe some more variety on the enemies would be nice as by wave 8-9 it felt quite samey. The impacts and game feel is awesome, hits feel juicy and the knockback is satisfying. 4.5/5
agreed
simple shapes, massive polish
the hammer scale guy made me laugh the first time seeing it
it gets really chaotic with the different scales and waves as the game progresses (in a good way).
solid entry!
Really good game, I loved the visuals and audio. Great submission!
The game is incredibly fun, I like how polished it is. Great job!
So polished, so fun. Amazing game in every aspect.
I really liked this game! I played it without mouse, but I am used to that
This is so fun to play. I really enjoyed the endboss because I needed to switch tactics. Beforehand I stayed small as long as I could until there were almost no small enemies left. Funky Music, polished art and great feedback effects. Great Game!
The style was very well done and the gameplay was a blast. I can myself playing this game for a quite awhile before I ever got bored with it.
I really like the polish and style of the game, and i love the ikaruga-esque gameplay! I kinda wish the mess you create would be persistant on the map, and also that there were more variety within the gameplay such as different enemies, attacks you can only dodge in one specific scale etc etc. but all in all, great job!
Another QoL thing would be being able to scale up and down with scrollwheel so i don't have to move my hands from WASD B^)
I loved this! Love the upgrading sistem every n rounds, something i should've added to my game :') and like also how you kept everything consistent with the pixel size, not just scaling the player but drawing 3 different sprites. Nice now i'm gonna continue watching da live
great style great job
Very cool, beat it on normal. Didn’t feel to threatened until the boss, which nearly killed me, definitely a difficulty spike. I’ll be you could integrate the tutorial by just introducing differently sized enemies after the first or second level.
I love this type of games where there is waves and i must kill enemies good job
the art is so cool and the game itself!
A pretty good take on the theme. This almost reminds me of Ikaruga's color switching mechanic, except I think there's a little more depth with yours as your combat style changes for each size.
Nicely done. :)
Extremely juicy game with simple yet effectively pretty visuals. I would leave a lenghty comment but others have already done that, I will just say that I didn't feel much of a need to switch sizes back and forth a lot, usually sticking to a size until said size enemies are all dead was sufficient.
