How does your game fit the theme?
Scale Event Starting! is a game that is constantly in action, as you can tell from the name of the game. The main reason for this action is the event system and boss battles that take place every 10 seconds. Designing the events and organizing the boss battles fits in with the GMTK Game Jam 2024 “Built to Scale” theme as Scale means that the character is in scale (power-up), the dimensions are in scale, the time is in scale, the music is in scale and of course the battles are in scale.

I love the implementation of the theme scale here, your window will scale, your character will scale, your movement speed will scale. the only very very minor feedback I have is the lack of visual feedback for when you damage an enemy but everything else is amazzzing!

Cool bullet hell! For some reason the second boss went out of the screen so I was blocked but it was nice anyway. Good job!

I love the special effects.

Here I thought I would get in trouble putting screen shake in our game 😂. Love the aesthetics.

Chaotic and fun! Trippy visuals and a lot of fun powerups that really make a big impact. Nice!

Nice game. The window size change is very difficult to handle when it happens but fun idea XD

It is a realy fun top-down shooter, realy chaotic, realy high energy, everything scales, it's perfect!

There is also a cool slime  :)

the "oof" sound just made me laugh. Over all love the idea, the SFX of the guns and the physics of the bullet are top notch. the slow mo part feels im like playing max payne

From ammo scale to difficulty scale to size scale - that's definitely the most amount of "scale types" in the same game I have seen in the jam so far hahaha. Nice job on the game - I actually had a lot fun with it. 😊

Insanely chaotic, but couldn't help but keep playing! I feel you could scrap the slow-mo button as I personally felt like having it gone would only add an extra level of intense chaos which is exactly what this game is all about! (or even add to the theme by having enemies grow or having you shrink in size) Not sure if that is included in the game as the events you get are random, but overall great work! :)

Pretty fun! Random events also add some unpredictability  to keep me on the toes.

Fun game! When I started the game I though "huh an epilepsy warning in a game jam game?", but then I pressed ok and understood why hehe.

Great game! My only feedback is, with all the great effects and juice in the game, I'd love to see the enemies burst into pixels when I shoot them. Seems odd they just blip out of existence.
