I loved the gameplay, same as round 1.

Tho I wish there was some more story elements, I understand you ran out of time (me included)

Well done, liked it very much! :D

You really have something special with this game.  It took me less than a minute to know I was giving it a perfect score, and I still played through the whole thing just cause I was having fun.  Amazing job!!

This was my favorite game in round 1 and I still love it in round 2 (I collected all the upgrades and made it out of the cave).  But, I was hoping there would be a bit more gameplay in this round.  In any case, this game is still crazy fun (there is just something so addictive about getting those upgrades).  I hope you get to continue it and I get to play it again.

Still one my favorite games :)

I never got around to playing this game during round 1, but I sure am glad to be playing it now! It's a super chill and fun little experience. I was definitely hoping for a longer experience, but what we did get is still awesome! Super fun!

This game was extremely satisfying to play, it feels great to break the rocks up with my laser and collect the materials and then upgrade. Great game loop. You have the basis for a really cool game here.

Nice game but no projectile :sad-duck:

The mechanics so sooooo satisfying, I remember this one from Round 1. The upgrades ramp up quickly enough to not get old and then you've got this piercing laser just crushing ores. Feels great.
Shame you didn't get to add everyone you wanted, but whats there feels really good!

I love the skill tree. The first thing I did was max everything out, then I was like "Wait, the duck told me to go somewhere...." It feels great to play. Bummer that you ran out of time but the story that's there was cool.

I'm really happy to see you continuing the game from last round! I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to finish it, but what is here is incredible solid, polished and I couldn't find a single bug! I really hope to see you take this game even further in future rounds!

Sounds like it was a pretty rough development cycle but it still came out nicely. Breaking the rocks was still incredibly satisfying and having do so to explore the map and find your way out was a nice addition. While the game felt a bit incomplete, it still left me feeling as if I had a full experience and I had fun, which is nice. I liked the little duck too (^)> great job!

Who knew that destroying rocks could feel so good. I did not get to play your game in round 1, but now I see why you did so well. The upgrades were quite satisfying. I really hope we get to see more of this in future rounds. Well done.

Ahh so happy to see this game come back! The intro cutscene was very cute.

Admittedly a little sad the gameplay loop (i.e. skill tree and more levels) wasnt expanded, I was really looking forward to it haha

I remember playing the version of this game for last round and you've made some good improvements. Fun game!

Thank you for the kind feedback, unfortunetly my time was very short this round and i made some bad decisions when planning my scope. The itch page just got an update where you can find some more info on the development process this round.

This was great! I wish there was more story. Sad too see only one part, but I understand the business that has come upon everyone this week.

Thank you for playing the game. Yes, sadly i only got one part done, and for that i worked until 5 min before the deadline. My scope was set completly wrong this round, and some tasks took longer than expected. I just updated the itch page of the game, if you want to take a second look at it :)

Hey, your game is like popping bubble wrap.

Seriously, what about that popcorn sound it makes?

Given the state of things, I feel like there was a lack of time and motivation, but don't give up on this concept, it has a lot of potential.

I can see myself playing something like this for hours. Destroying secret passages while eating popcorn. 10/10

Thank you for the feeback :) I just updated the itch page, so it isnt so blank. Mostly it was a lack of time, because I needed to improve my code from the first round to make levels this big possible. My plan was to include a mole-npc that could break the unbreakable wall tiles to progress in the story, but all that got crushed when i had to spend around 8 hours reworking my mining code from the first round.
Then when i realised that my scope was set wrong, i needed to downscale really bad and my motivation was gone :/
Thanks for the good words <3

You did great, man. Both this round and last round. I was actually genuinely excited when I saw the thumbnail and realized you continued this project
