Very fun game! The hat steal is a really nice touch. Some more music and SFX would really tie things together, but it’s a great game overall :)
What a great little shooter. I love that the birds can steal your hat - it really adds character to the game. The animations are simple and charming. It could use some music and a win condition.

Simple and addictive mechanics, was really amused when a crow stole the hat, had a great time playing the game ! If you plan on working on it past the jam then maybe adding more crows variants/power-ups could be good !

Super fun game had a blast throwing pitchforks at those pesky crows! Mechanics simple and intuitive. The art is really cute and I love that the crows steal my hat :> Cloud pays out huge but it is unsatisfying when the stored shots all disappear, especially if it had 4 saved. Perhaps it could decrease slowly over time and or add time when a new shot is stored. Overall good job! :DDDD

Controls are very easy. Very nice.
It's really charming! I like watching the clouds lazily float by and the touch of the hat being an extra life is cute. My highscore was 16,940, and I really liked how it became absolute chaos after the 10,000 mark. Cute art!
Even though the gameplay is simple, it's just so much fun! I could totally see this as a Game & Watch game.
Very fun game, good graphics and simple and addictive mechanics. I will definitely come back here to play a little more calmly later.

I liked the idea of the cloud
Here are some points for improvement:
1-I missed some bosses.
2-Maybe adding a little more variety to the enemies would reinvigorate the game.
It was interesting to follow the evolution of this project on discord. It really turned out to be a really cool little game.
It has a lot of charm, simple but satisfying game play, found at least a couple of mini-games with in the game! and seeing your score roll up instead of jump up really does add something.

There are two variables for the score, the "total" score is the actual score (which is not seen), but the score value on the screen is the other variable. if the onscreen score is less than the total score, add some more to it to get it closer to the total until it's equal :) It checks every frame, so 60 times a second. It adds 10 points a go, unless that will go over, then it adds 1 point each time.
The cloud is a "powerup" that if it's hit with 5 pitchforks in a close amount of time - then it starts 'raining' pitchforks ! Very bad for the crows, but you are fine, assuming you are wearing your hat when it rains ;)
I found this one to be very fun! Seeing the score tick up as you murder crows is super satisfying, and the hat second chance system was really clever! The game really reminds me of old Atari 2600 games in terms of gameplay loop and graphics.
My only gameplay issue is that the game just becomes flat-out impossible at a certain point, as the "bombs" the birds drop cover too much of the playing field to dodge with your limited movement.
I'm also struggling to see the relation to the theme of the jam, but that's more of a minor thing.
An overall great job!
Oh, and if I remember correctly, I got a score of around 28k or something like that.
Fun little game, can definitely see this one on an actual 3310. Nothing too complex but has charm. Animations are appropriate and I enjoyed discovering the cloud "powerup" :)
