What a cinematic intro! Really good, and the gameplay is very fluid.

A very creative and well-made game. I spent a long time having fun with it. If I were to add anything, it would be an "arcade" mode with a short campaign—something that would be ideal for a game jam—but otherwise, it's excellent.

Thanks for testing the game and for the feedback. My initial idea was to have three short campaigns—one for each of the three characters—but I didn't finish them. As for the engine, I’ll try publishing directly from Godot again after the game jam.

That's a really good idea. I just felt the time allowed to memorize the signal before repeating it was too short; I think it should take a bit longer, or perhaps scale progressively based on the level.

Had a good laugh with this game—kept trying to beat the level just to see what would leave the wage earner even more broke lol. Great idea, and the graphics turned out cool too.

The game is quite intuitive. However, I feel it lacked a more gradual progression in the challenges, and perhaps using more traditional platformer-style jumps would have made the movement feel more fluid.

The game is simple and very intuitive. One idea might be to include flying enemies and the ability to duck to dodge them.

The art is really good. I just felt it lacked varied mechanics. But congratulations on the game.

The game has great atmosphere and the art is really good. I'm not very good with the dice, but I did my best.

On the selection screen, press the "X" key to switch characters.

This is the kind of simple, addictive game.

I liked the game and the concept. The controls worked well for me, and everything turned out really well overall.

Your suggestions have been added to the list of post-jam improvements. Regarding Alex: he is the only one available until you finish the tournament in first place.

I thought the game's atmosphere and the tension in the plot were really cool. The art turned out great.

Thanks for testing the game, for the feedback, and for understanding the situation. I had tried to get the HTML version to embed directly on itch.io but gave up due to time constraints, and then Netlify decided to throw in this "gift."

Thank you for testing the game.

The game concept is quite interesting. I just felt it was missing some progression involving other challenges or mechanics.

Interesting—I’d never thought I’d see an RPG here. I liked the game's simplicity and, at the same time, its innovation. I did feel it was a bit unrewarding when you make a wrong move, but that's alright.

Oh, I see where the questions are coming from. I’ve always hosted my HTML games on that free service, but now they’re inserting this "gift" into the game's HTML. I’m going to try hosting directly on itch.io again.

Thanks for the feedback; I’ll definitely add those improvements. Speaking of AI, I’m personally kind of fed up with being forced to use it at work. I love programming because it helps me relax, so making games is a hobby I do for fun—and to stay as far away from AI as possible.

Never doubt the capabilities of a bad player lol

Thanks for the reply. Regarding the bug, I'll try to reproduce it and include a screenshot, okay?

Thanks a lot for playing and for the feedback. Regarding the ending: if you finish the tournament in first place, you'll unlock a new character with a different spec.

I found it interesting how the difficulty was introduced gradually, and the game fit the game jam's theme really well. Simple and straight to the point.

I liked the game. However, it would be interesting to start with smaller mazes and gradually increase the complexity. The first one already left me a bit lost, and it took me a while to spot my character among all those pixels. I enjoy games without time limits because they help me relax.

I fell into the same situation.

I found the game very promising. I just felt it lacked a more gradual level progression to introduce the mechanics, the way Mario did.

I think I accidentally triggered a bug and got stuck in the second level.

I liked the game's atmosphere, and I found it very relaxing.

I liked the game's premise. The only thing I think it needed was some kind of safe space near the character.

Thanks for your feedback; I'll try to improve on that point in the next edition.

Thanks for joining in! It's great to hear you enjoyed it.

Appreciate you playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thank you for playing! I'm happy you had fun.

Coming back to give more accurate feedback.

The graphics and plot are incredible.

The only thing I would do differently would be to perhaps reduce the difficulty of the mini-games a little, because less skilled players take a while to move the mouse to the cell phone button.

Thanks for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Coming back to give more precise feedback. So I really liked the gameplay itself.
The mechanics are very good.
Here are some things I missed:
1-Maybe the store should open a little earlier.
2-I think the price of the potion should be a little more affordable to make up for the bulk purchase.
3-I missed a clear objective for the game or some plot.

Now that I've managed to evaluate the other games, I'm coming back to give a more accurate.

The game is amazing, the gameplay is impeccable and the effects in general
Here are some points for improvement:

  • after level 5 the XP goes beyond the bar
  • when walking the character generates sub pixels (often)
  • extra hearts do not always restore HP
  •  you can shoot enemies without having to enter the room where they are
  • I found the difficulty very high in the last rooms. Which is cool for a hardcore game, but maybe too much for a game jam
