That was neat! A little janky in parts, but all-in-all a fun time. The enemy designs are cute!
Good work!

Sticking to the theme to a T, I respect that! Skill based gameplay with an amount of content and polish level I wouldn’t expect in a game jam! Props man!
I wish I had a little bit more luck on my side, very hard game, really fun nonetheless. The best for me is the game feel, the control of the character is really good
This was fun! I had some similar issues as others where eventually I got stuck. I got decently far before I hit a point where I just could not jump to the highest spot. Intro was also really cute.
Really liked the intro, I managed to get the whole diamond out in one piece - fun game, I think I cheated a bit with double jumps/wall climbing though - haha
Nice game man. It was fun to play and I really liked that there is an animation for when you grab on to the wall. Really nice touch. Unfortunately I found a bug, i think it was level 3 where I was dying in the spikes and then respawning just below the floor and into the spikes. And I was stuck in an infinite loop there, every time spawning just below the floor. But anyway, I guess it's an easy fix, the game is still awesome. Congrats
Thanks a lot for playing and for the kind feedback! I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and especially that you noticed the little wall grab animation. :)
I'll definitely take a look at that respawn bug in level 3. Thanks for reporting it!
Just a little tip in case you ever get stuck like that again: you can press R at any time to restart the current level. So at least there's an emergency escape button for my bugs. :D
Thanks again for playing and for taking the time to leave feedback!
Hey everyone, thanks again for all your feedback!
I found my mistake. There was a bug in my ground contact check before entering the wall slide. I fixed it, and the movement feels so much better now!
I uploaded the fix last night, and only today it occurred to me: Wait... am I actually allowed to do that? :D
I couldn't find anything about it in the rules, and I know a lot of jams allow bug fixes after submission. Hopefully I didn't accidentally break a rule while fixing a bug. :D
I found the game very promising. I just felt it lacked a more gradual level progression to introduce the mechanics, the way Mario did.
I think I accidentally triggered a bug and got stuck in the second level.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I definitely agree that I could have done a better job introducing the mechanics more gradually.
I’m especially curious about the bug in level 2 though. I have absolutely no idea what you managed to do there, which of course makes me even more curious. :D
Do you remember what happened or how exactly you got stuck? I’d love to try and reproduce it.

Not sure if that is intended, but the game is extremely frustrating and rage inducing. I got stuck on two levels for like 5 minutes having to redo them multiple times in a row. And I wasn't even trying to complete it before the timer. Wall sliding is very frustrating, it was useful less times than it caused me my anger when player starts to slide the wall when on the ground and refuse to jump or do anything. The timer above gives me like 30 seconds while I had to spend 5 minutes to clear the level, because one slip up causes you to parkour up and try again. The level with switching platforms with a button was extremely fun until I got decently high and I just kept falling and falling again and again without an ability to reach the top. I just gave up after a certain amount of tries. The base is really good and could be fun but I feel like the levels are extremely untested. The difficulity spike is vertical from the first levels to these two.
Thanks a lot for playing and for taking the time to write such detailed feedback! I really appreciate it.
My idea was to make the game challenging without punishing the player too much. That’s why you can’t die, and you can always finish a level even if you don’t beat the timer. The timer was meant as an optional challenge that becomes easier as you learn and get better at each level.
From your experience, it seems like that didn’t work out quite as well as I intended, so that’s definitely something for me to think about.
I also noticed the issue with the wall sliding, but unfortunately I ran out of time to fix it before the jam ended. And looking back, I probably should have introduced the double jump more clearly as well.
Could you tell me which two levels you got stuck on for around five minutes? I’d really like to take another look at them and understand where you had the most trouble.
Thanks again for the feedback and for giving the game a try!
