I don't have a numpad, but I found it was playable using both hands on the keyboard's number row

Top score: 592

Not just a game, but also a numpad learning program! :)

Developer

Perhaps each Run hides a message when you enter the numbers.

This one I would have played for hours if it was on my dumbphone back then. Maybe only because I still have my no look numerals memorized from when I was doing inputs like a bot. I don't think quicker input gets you a better score there and that's a shame. Other than that, excelent work. HS:597

Thank you so much for the feedback and for playing.

When I was developing it, I added a bonus score for typing faster, but it ended up breaking the score-to-level ratio limit. So I just made it faster over time, and typing faster ensures you won’t lose.

Cool, this game really makes sense on Nokia!

Developer

I thought about the games I played as a child and how most of them used buttons.

Submitted(+1)

That was fun! It's nice to see a game focused around the keypad configuration. Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, and I’m glad to know you enjoyed the game :D

This is fun, I like the idea of a typing game on a phone focused around a 9 digit pad instead of a texting simulator. I love typing games, so this is right up my alley

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed it :D

Great job!  I would have liked to see more numbers e.g. 2-6 digit numbers.  Feels like a fun captcha / keyboard learning game in the works.  Keep up the good work!

Thank you very much for the feedback.

I tested those numbers, and at times they end up being confusing—at least, that’s how I felt while testing them. Some people with dyslexia may feel disadvantaged.

simple and fun. But the game may be disqualified because the color palette doesn't match with the colors allowed for the jam...

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback.

Regarding the palette, the rules provided in my language state that you can create your own palette.

image.png

“Você também deve ser capaz de usar a paleta fornecida - você pode até mesmo criar a sua própria!” means: You should also be able to use the provided palette—you can even create your own!

If the color palette was grounds for disqualification, then the games that came before me for evaluation should also be disqualified because of their controls.

In the spanish rules it also sounds like it's allowed to create an original color palette. Maybe the jam's page got updated and the translations were forgotten.

In my opinion, if the rules are not clear, the game should not be disqualified.

Developer

I fully agree.
