Great job! The only things I can think to enhance it would be rebindable controls and having a persistent minimap, I was constantly toggling it on to get my bearings.
Great mood an and atmosphere; I was surprised how satisfying the movement is since it’s just advancing squares. Definitely having trouble putting this one down!
Awesome game! You really captured a powerful, dark mood and I love the artwork. I had a lot of fun and it has a really impressive level of polish for the short time it was made in. The flashlight lighting adds a lot to the game's presence; that was a great insight on a cool feature. Thanks for making such cool game!
Super fun game! I like the mechanic of balancing your mind to use your spells and stuff and the blessing mechanic is cool too. I really like the atmosphere and vibe of the game, it's nice and weird/creepy. The art of the god thing your growing is awesome, it was cool to see the new sprite for it after each level. Fantastic work!
Really awesome work. I had a ton of fun playing. I've actually played through it a few times now just looking for/playing around with different blessings. You really nailed it with the atmosphere, and I loved all the pixel art for the monsters and the lamb.
The only issue I noticed was a bug where you could get both blessings (and/or duplicates of the same one) after picking one from the lamb. Basically, once the lamb gives you a blessing, even though the blessing choice window goes away, the blessing icons inside it remain clickable. Clicking them will flash the blessing choice screen and give you another blessing. This hidden screen remains available until you leave the room with the lamb. The blessing choice from the altar inside the dungeon doesn't seem to have this bug.
That aside, it's really a fantastic game. I can't overstate how much I enjoyed this one!
Thanks for playing! I appreciate the kind words. I'm pretty shit at 3D modelling, which is why I relied so much on 2D pixel art, something I'm (relatively) good at lol.
Thats a good catch with that bug... the "choose a blessing" menu has an animation play that tweens it's modulate color to make it fade out. I guess I forgot to actually set it not visible at the end of the animation. I always forget that control nodes still receive input even if they are transparent. The difference is the altar one is a child of a CanvasLayer that gets hidden when you finish interacting with it!
That's a silly oversight to leave in lol, thanks for letting me know!
Really cool experience. The level of polish was really impressive for a jam. Nice work!
Really great game ! Loved the theme, loved the dungeon crawling and i liked the blessing ! Would've taken a hundred floor version of this game !
Great game! Very engaging and I loved the overall atmosphere.
Unfortunately, the audio was really delayed and choppy for me (but I'm pretty sure it's my browser's fault).
Thanks for playing! Do you generally have problems running Web exported Godot games in your browser? For some reason almost all of them run terribly for me (I had to have my brother test the game on his PC to actually see how it ran), low framerate, choppy audio, etc. Not sure what browser you're using, but I've tested with a few different ones to little benefit.
People online say it's a driver issue but like.... which drivers lol?
Wow, that was cool, man! I really loved the atmosphere and that cute little lamb I had to feed. It was nicely balanced- I almost died many times but managed to get to safety at the last moment.
Had a lot of fun, and it was great to have progression and an ending before it became too repetitive.
Truly amazing work, congrats!
Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! that was exactly how I was hoping people would play the game, using up your resources and just barely getting to safety. Hopefully the game is a good length to get across the ideas without becoming too tedious, I feel like that can be a hard balance for a game jam like this where people are hopping between potentially dozens of different games lol.
One of the favorite games I have tried this jam. The atmosphere, the gameplay, everything was amazing ! And it's so polished, really great job !
10 flesh out if of 10. Played it 3 times.
Cool game! Love the concept. Very polished!
Very cool game, super polished too. Great work :)
This was so horrible in the best way. well done

I LOVED this game. Wildly original take on the theme and as a huge fan of dungeon crawlers, this was a great one at that. Love the aesthetic and atmosphere. Amazing job. LOVED it - ANTIHERO Harley
Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you liked it! The idea is definitely pretty out there lol- but for some reason feeding a
Creepy and cool! I died during the final feeding, but it was an oddly satisfying journey. You nailed the aesthetic, and the game is super fun. Great job!
Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed it
Dang, that was cool. I loved the graphics. Also think it's funny that you almost did the one-handed wildcard, but like barely not.
Thanks for playing! Yeah, I know lol- at one point I was starting to set up a way for you to move and turn using the mouse only but ended up putting it on the back-burner and ran out of time. I think that's really the only thing that requires you use the keyboard unfortunately
