How is your game related to the Theme and Special Object?
The player places teleporter doors to transport a character throughout the levels. You have to add more and more doors to keep up with the sometimes hectic level design, and make sure to not leave any doors behind, or else Key Dawg might get teleported to his doom.

Really fun mechanic, and fits perfectly with the theme!
Great implementation of the theme and object! And everything else!! 5/5
Thank you!!! Means a lot to me to hear that :))
Wow the visuals are fantastic! I really liked the concept but the music can be a little annoying. Very cool game tho!
Perfect score. Extremely inventive concept, really fun to play. Make more please!
Thank you so much!!! It makes me very happy that you enjoyed it :)))
I enjoyed this game. I struggled a bit with the camera controls but that's my fault since I always wanted to rush. I also made some confusion with the play and level select buttons because I was expecting the play to start the levels. The tutorial was pretty good, it teaches the controls and rules in a fun way. Congratulations!
Thanks for the kind words! And, the tutorial will lead you to the first level. There's a finish line to the right in the tutorial, but I suppose it's not that easy to see with the camera haha!
I totally missed it! Thanks for the heads up and keep up the awesome work!
you knocked it out of the park on everything here.
Thank you so much!!! It means a lot :))
The theme and special object implementation are great! The visuals and audio effects are also amazing. However, I don't know if anyone else experienced this, but I couldn't get past level 1 because the game would bug right before the finish line, causing me to die every time, no matter what I did. It's a shame, since I enjoyed the gameplay I was able to experience-it was fun.
Hmmm, that's really weird. I'll have to look into that. If you want to try the other levels you can try them with the level selector in the main menu. They're really unique too!
Couldn't seem to recreate it but I removed an extra collider in the win area, so at least it shouldn't be able to happen again now. Thanks for noticing!
Cool small puzzle game. The art is outstanding, especially for a game jam game!
Gameplay mechanics are cool, but I feel like they could be taught to the player better. I finished all levels without understanding how the door he teleports to is chosen or which direction he runs at after going through a door. I just removed all doors I put before and quickly put doors where the next part is. I think it would be less frustrating when you fail and more rewarding when you win if the player understands what is going on.
I haven't made a puzzle game before, but I think they usually teach each little quirk of the game logic in a small level where you can't proceed unless you understand it. Longer levels don't encourage trying out how the mechanics work since you lose progress.
But that is honestly nitpicking since I had a lot of fun while playing and wanted to play more levels! Music fits the gameboy vibe perfectly as well.
Thank you for the kind words! I was really happy with the sound design in this game too.
And yes, I honestly really agree with the point about the mechanics not being very intuitive. I sort of ran out of time before playtesting enough, so after I submitted the game I realized that I never explained how the teleportation logic actually works (so I quick-fixed by explaining it in the How-to-play section). But 100% you're right. The player is instantly thrown into a level with hazards and no real explanation of how the doors work.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll definitely try to improve on the "teaching the player" aspects of devving!
This is so fun! It took me a few minuets to get through all of the levels! Very cool game and super impressive given the short time!
Thank you so much!! Well played, the second level isn't easy :)))
Really fun! Enjoyed playing though the game. Would've been nice to have a slightly wider fov or different camera movement but I can understand the theme you were going for.
The music and sfx fits very well! I like the concept that the door becomes the portal :D
I really liked the Game Boy aesthetic! I've never been a big fan of this kind of puzzle game, but I really enjoyed this one!
Thanks!! It means a lot you enjoyed it since I wasn’t sure if the mechanic would make sense to others or not.
Great job! You really nailed the style of the game, the visuals really fit with the audio. Level design is really tricky so I was impressed to see that you managed to create some interesting levels! It was very challenging.
Thank you so much!!! Did you manage to finish all three levels or was it too difficult? :)
I returned now to finish all levels! Overall really solid game, well done! The only note I have is about the theme, instead of adding a lot of doors I had to constantly remove the doors I placed, to prevent the character from going backwards haha
Yes you… destroyed doors — so you could… add more? ;)
Really fun concept! The art, music and gameplay are all so much fun! Great game :D
Exciting idea, but a little buggy when going through a door, as it seems to teleport you towards the one closest to you. However, I feel it is a very nice base for a fully fledged game
Thanks! I also liked the idea. Also, I mean the main mechanic is that the door will always teleport the player to the closest other door. But I understand the confusion, the mechanics are a bit finicky.
Pretty cool idea, the mechanic is a bit hard to get.I do not understand which doors are connected. So it gets messed up often.
Yes it can be messy, after entering a door, the player will always teleport to the closest other door. Even if it’s quite far away. So you have to manage which doors are in the level :/
