This was super fun!! The swapping between fast and slow is a really interesting mechanic, and it was fun to mess around with and strategize. Also loved the art of the alien in the intro!! As a small change, I think it might’ve been nice to have more indication on when the blocks would swap.
Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback!
I think the game is great, but the sound effects need a lot of work. I found it a bit too spammy and repetitive, also a bit uneasy on the ears. Adding some pitch shift and less scratch sounds would go a long way!
Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback. You're absolutely right – unfortunately, I have no experience with music at all.
I'll definitely give some more thought to the music and sounds.
Nice game and quite difficult. I like the idea of constanly going down. I feel like you made the music yourself (which is good), but it can use some work. Maybe some alien sounding pad sounds or a simple synth melody could add to the space atmosphere
Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback – and you're right, music isn’t really my thing 😄.
This is cool! I love the orange-black and the aline guy at the start! It's a lot of fun and seems very polished. I like that one constantly goes down.
Thank you so much!
Love that you added codes! interesting mechanic of swapping obstacles, and having the fast and slow fall being fueled by eachother.
I ended up crashing the game when trying to enter random codes haha. Also the slow/fast fall sound effect is a bit loud. But overall great job, color palette is great and great job completing the jam!
Thank you for playing and your feedback!
A simple yet interesting game concept. I would have liked to see the switching synced with the drums, but nonetheless, a very fun game.
Thank you for playing and your feedback!
Very interesting game XD
Quite hard to determine when I need to start decreasing speed at first
but really fun strategizing it XD
Thank you for playing!
nice game
Great game!I really loved the art style!
Good job!
This is so sick!! I love the balancing act between going fast and slow. And the switching between the different blocks was a super cool idea too! Great work!
Thank you so much!
I LOVED the idea and the vibe! Really cool Game! This should be on mobile.
Thanks for playing, and making the game mobile-friendly is a great idea. Thank you!
Well executed game! Clean graphics and intuitive gameplay. Good job!
Thank you for playing!
going fast was so fun lol, i so badly wish i could do it infinitely, but i get the fast-slow management is for balance. there were a few obstacles that i feel like you couldn't get around the first time without prior knowledge, even as i was trying to keep my fast + slow equal in preparation for new obstacles.
The idea was that you’d play a level multiple times to improve your best time and find the optimal balance between fast and slow movement.
That’s why, for example, "fast" charges up more quickly when you brake – and vice versa.
If you don’t do either, they slowly return to balance over time.
It was also meant so that you can share the code at the end of a level with friends and compete for the best landing time.
Thanks again for playing! 😊
Fun little game and really like the concept! However, I did not understand when obstacles change? It did not seem to fit to the beat, although this would have make the theme category a 5/5! :D It was a bit "rare" making the game quite hard...so the change should appear more often I think. Other than that: Really good work!
I didn’t really pay attention to how beat-heavy the background music was – I just wanted to add a little music 😄
The actual beat for the game is shown in the top left and is marked with a beep.
Unfortunately, there’s also a bug in the game: the frequency was supposed to change when flying through the round arrow symbols, but I messed something up there 😅
Thanks again for playing!
I like the concept and the gameplay is quite fun! A few suggestions: the hitboxes are a bit too punishing at the moment, and more frequent color changes (synced to the beat ofc) would be nice imo.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback – I agree with you on all points. Thank you!
good game!!!! i like it!!
Really cool game! I love the style! Keep going!
Thank you for playing!
I immediately enjoyed playing the game, after the first few seconds. I can't really explain it, but the combination of difficulty level, sound and graphics, makes it just fun! Well done.
Thank you so much!
Solid core premise well-executed! Agree with what others have already pointed out — the process of waiting for the flow/fast to equalize wasn't a ton of fun, and a tweak that rewards faster play might be worth trying. The music not syncing with the switch mechanic... you already know. Good work!
Thanks a lot for playing and for taking the time to write — I really appreciate it!
You're absolutely right, and yeah… the music thing… 😅 .
I know the flow/speed mechanic still needs some love. The idea was to make players think tactically about when to brake or accelerate, but as several folks have pointed out now, waiting around isn't fun.
I'm definitely going to explore tweaks that make the whole system feel snappier and more rewarding — especially for players who want to go fast.
Super glad you liked the core of it though. Feedback like yours helps a lot!
Completed the game in 156. Great game, but most of the time you are just waiting for fast and slow movement to stabilize - i think this part needs some work - despite this - everything else was awesome. Would play a longer version for sure!
Thanks for playing and for the great feedback!
The idea behind the slow/fast movement is that they balance each other out over time.
So if you accelerate a lot, braking power increases – and if you brake a lot, your ability to speed up improves. If you do nothing, they slowly stabilize.
I wanted players to strategically decide when to brake and when to speed up – kind of like managing your own descent style.
But you're totally right — it’s not quite there yet. Something’s missing to make that mechanic more fun or clear.
Maybe some kind of power-ups that shift the balance or allow temporary overrides could help.
Either way, I’m really glad you enjoyed it! And thanks again for the honest input – super helpful! 😊
