Ahhh... This game just make me gamble addict
Very well-made game you guys have here. An innovation of a well-known game is always a good approach, and I like it a lot. Hell, I totally forgot the time, cause I'm fully invested into the gameplay loop. At first things are a bit vague, but later on, it makes so much sense. It seems like the point of the game is to make sure that you loose a considerable amount of time before you realize something, and in this case, gather enough information to beat the living hell out of the opponent :)))) Honestly, very solid submission guys, and I hope you guys do well on upcoming projects too!
PS: Who the hell place the mannerisms tells onto the table, face up ;)))
Love it!! Was really fun noting his moves to deduce the card. Really nice job on the art and vibe too!
This is a solid take on the card game. The tell mechanic added a new layer of strategy. Unfortunately, I suck at card games…
this was really cool i liked the mechanic of reading the tells!
maybe it would be a bit more difficult if you could highlight the card numbers on the page whenever you want instead of highlighting the tell? would add a bit more challenge because you'd need to remember what tell he had for the duration of the turn and it would also feel more like you're making your own notes. just a suggestion but apart from that it was cool and the presentation was nice too!
Cool game. Quite fun as well. The tells mechanic adds some spice to the entire experience, even though it may seem like the tells are obvious, you still need to make a judgement.
Cool Concept, the game is fun to play and engaging. I figured out about the tells and gestures after a while of playing, but it added more to the uniqueness of the game, and they were funny too. Looking forward for more characters and gestures.
Really fun game! If only people irl were that easy to read. Had a great time and looking forward to more!
LET'S GO GAMBLING!
Fun game! I liked the animations and the concept a lot. The game looks very polished. I wish knowing the tells gave me just a little more of an advantage over the other guy - once I figured out the patterns I didn't feel like my odds were that much better. Maybe I wasn't playing optimally and it was a me issue. Anyways, awesome job!!
Really cool concept! The clipboard with the tells is a clever way of adding deduction & calculating risks :)
The whole thing feels really polished too with good music & animations
This game gave me gambling addiction
Haha welcome to the club!
That was fun! I actually found it kinda cozy, with the chill music, the rattling of the chips and the dim lighting, while taking all this man's money 😂
I had a pretty fun time with this game. The tells add a nice extra layer to a game that would otherwise be solely luck based.
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked the extra layer with the tells. Interestingly enough the fixed-limit betting introduces its own level of strategy (albeit on a simple scale), so it's not entirely luck based. I did my best to make the opponent tough to beat without the tells, though :). The strategies get even more interesting if the game is played No-Limit style, but alas that is too complicated for a weekend game jam.
I like the deduction of the gesture of the rival, it's really cool
Thanks for playing! Glad you liked that mechanic :)
