This was fun! The visuals were somehow both clean and creepy, which I thought fit the story well.

However, for something supposedly about magic, I didn’t really get a magical feeling. Visually, I suppose, but mechanically it could easily have just been some kind of hovercraft and it would have made just as much sense.

I really dug the vibe, though, and the gameplay otherwise was pretty smooth and intuitive. I think with some additional, more magical, mechanics, this could be really great.

Nice job!

Original, trippy, and fun—this games concept is mind-bending in the best way

Enjoyed this. I was missing a jump at the start but after a while it gets satisfying to flow from one island to the next. The cinematics were a nice surprise, that face was unnerving!

It’s psycodelic and addictive. Also thanks to the music. The graphics, despite minimalistic, look quite good and well-suited to the overall atmosphere. Game feels crazy in a good way.

Thank you very much!

Got drawn in by the face gif, was not disappointed. Great entry!

This was a blast to play!  Really reminiscent of those top down racers I used to play when I was younger.

There were two small control issues for me.  Clicking on the Text boxes wouldn't advance the text.  It's likely a RichTextLabel or some other Control not passing the event down.  You could also put the text box behind the Control that's capturing the mouse.

Also, it was a little jarring to have the rotation limited to the mouse's available movement.  Consider warping the mouse to the center of the screen after sampling it

This is the kind of weird setting I love.  The intro was cool and just makes me wanna know more about our little wizard fella.  What kind of mage is he? why is he riding a disembodied hand through space?

It's fun speeding along and trying to make the right lines or making the big jumps.

This was such a trip in the best way. Had such a great time playing through the levels and loved the final scene.

Great work guys!! This was a vibe. Took me back to the old days of surfing on CS. Character was a lot of fun to control, all gas no brakes!! Environment was great too and the ending spoke to the soul and puts ya in trance

Developer (1 edit)

Yeah! All gas no brakes! That's the way to play it :D

Very interesting game! I ended up getting stuck on the torso part as the text wouldn't advance. I wish there was more physics based movement where I could go flying between platforms!

Weird game, and that's kinda a good point. I would like the have the camera lock behind the hand to have a better gameplay experience. But I manage to get to the end. I personaly don't see the link with the theme, maybe it is just me. I must not have get something for this game experience.

Good luck with your entry!

Not really my type of game, but hats off to you for this weird and original game !

Love the musics, the hand is slippery but can be command well with a little bit of practice

Nicely done and executed !

Brilliantly weird and original! What game jams are all about haha!

Loved the art, especially the tiny wizard on that giant magical hand.

The concept was simple but done well. There were a couple of occasions where I got stuck on the collision but was able to get around them.

The sounds were nice, but a bit harsh when respawning.

Great little story too, and I appreciate you adding a save game feature

Interesting idea, I like clay-ish design of the world

Movement control was mostly smooth, but at few moments I got stuck in geometry of platforms, only to get unstuck when sound indicated less forward force. Probably minor bug.

Personally, would prefer for camera to be connected to hand rotation. Trying to follow direction I’m actually flying with mouse controlled camera felt like unnecessary fighting against game.

Still finished game. Good job overall

Love the theme of the game, the restart level SFX is very abrasive though. Nice controls and fun game!

Perfectly balanced for difficulty on the tracks, and I LOVE the graphic and the bizarre nature of the game.  The magic was the hands we found along the way. XD

The whole plot could be an RPG. Not to save the princess or the kingdom, but just a mage trying to find the origin of magic.

The experience was very trippy. The final encounter gave me The Lawnmower Man vibes.

Congratulations on your submission.
