Goddamm.. played this game for way to long.. but the lag is getting crazy after a little while, tip for next time.. when the red yarn/ blue yarn is close to each other, make them automatically combine, resulting into a bigger yarn build. this will lower the instances on screen massively!
Thanks for the feedback! but did you ever press Right shift it help the lag. the yarn combine would make the game more laggy because of all the collision checks.
Well, it would check collissions indeed, but since they start colliding when there are just a few spawn, the instances never get very high. I think it will do wonders. All the yarn instances + opponents is really doing a heavy toll
wall I did do a test one time to see if the yarn was make the game lag but I spawned like 4000 and I had 60fps and my pc has like 5 to 6 gb of ram.
I had a lot of fun becoming overpowered!

Really fun vampire-survivors-alike! As others said, I would change the background eyesore and right-click for select was super unintuitive (I'm sure there are ways to workaround whatever made you choose that). I also think it could get harder faster, as being overpowered can get boring :)

Nice! Lots of mice! Could use a bit more variation on enemies though. Nice upgrades! Your method of upgrades is quite similar to mine if you want to check my game out!
Cool game. I’ve played it quite a bit. A bit of positive feedback:
The wait between levels—nice to have a countdown there.
The spinning laser—the artwork on that one felt a bit average.
The background—it got a bit much over time, could use some variation.
Definitely a lot of potential with this one. Good work!
