I recently stopped working and am ready to relax myself. I want to play some independent games. The large-scale games on STEAM are not suitable for me due to the problem of personal computer equipment. I want to play some RPG games that do not require high computer requirements, have good plots, and novel gameplay.
I can spend some money to buy games as long as it makes me think it is worth it.

Browsing games on Itch has its quirks. You will find many people complaining about this feature or that.
But you will find that the good games tend to be easily findable. At least the ones that hit the taste of a lot of people.
You can switch to top-sellers and top-rated. Default sort is by "popularity".
And you can use tags to find games according to your interests. Unfortunately, good plot and novel gameplay are not easily definable and if they are used as tags, they are highly subjective.

Oh, I did not know Long Live The Queen was on Itch. I bought it years ago on Steam. Would not call it an rpg though. The quirks I mentioned include that the tags here are chosen by the developers. So your mileage may vary. They are also freestyle. If you find games you like, look what tags they have in common and also try the similar game button and after playing some games, maybe the recommendation section will have some games for you.
