is like the boys but nicer Lol!!!
Great interpretation of the theme
Really smooth presentation with appealing designs and a good color palette. With even more items/enemies and modifiers this could become really cool. I'm imagining progression with things that carry over from different levels or runs, all sorts of stuff. Well done!
thank you so much! yes! im think for the next update i want to focus more on level design, skins for the character and i think i've found a way to introduce a boss battle. Also more comics for each level, really want to keep the plot a main part of this!
The concept was really cool. It was one of the ones that stuck closest to the game's theme. Gj
thank you so much!
I loved the concept and animation of this game, it really fit well with the theme, congratulations on this submission.
The animations were really fluid by the way, I would love to see more of the artwork process to learn how you achieved it.
thank you so much! it really means a lot to me! yes, im planning on sharing the entire process and i want to work on this game more, so i guess stay tuned! 😁
Sure will.
That's a really cool story! It actually reminded me of the Superman theory.
When Superman was first introduced, people were amazed by his powers, he always won. But as he kept winning again and again, readers started to feel it was predictable. They knew he’d always come out on top, which made things a bit boring.
That’s why the writers introduced Kryptonite, to bring in real tension and challenge!
thank you so much! yes, i think i remeber reading something about this! guess it's impossible having a complete original thought nowadays 🤣
Amazing art and UI. Great Gameplay and intuitive controls.
thank you so mcuh! really appreciate it!
Great game I enjoyed!
thank you so much!
I made a video of your game! It's at the 10:42 mark of this video.
ooh my god! thank you, that is so awesome!
Had a really good time with this one — you nailed it! Great job!
thank you so much!
This is a really cool idea. A very new concept. Missed the sound somehow. Feels like captain america doing acting, I am sure you got the inspiration from there. A good comedy and comic storyline. Hope you add sound and work on it. The game feels good and connected to the theme. Well done.
thank you so much! it really means a lot to me! thank you!
Interesting balance between winning too much and loosing to much to keep on playing. Great idea!
thank you so much!
Loved the game. The art was really good. enjoyed the gameplay.
thank you so much! planning on working a lot more on this!
loved the game concept and art! hope you'll update the game!
thanks so much! yes, im thinking on working a lot on this game!
thats great art
thank you so much!
It was very entertaining 👌 , I would love your feedback on my Chad🗿 game too.
thank you so much! yep, already did!
Unique concept and I feel like you implemented it fairly well and it's easy to understand. I'm curious where you were inspired or got this idea from? I know it can be frustrating not to be able to fit everything you want into your jam game, but glad you were able to submit something regardless!
thank you so much! yes, i had to compromise a little on the quantity of stuff (level, sprites etc and the music that was completly cut) but the concept of the game is really what i had in mind. I got the idea cause i think i always link being "overpowered" with "getting bored": i remember when i was a kid and i could use cheat codes in games, the game itself became really boring, cause there was no challenge. And i think I was influenced with some silly math games i used to play (probably the only person who enjoyed those when i was a kid!). if you add those two with the very little knowledge i have in GDevelop (literally started using it 2-3 weeks before the jam lol), I didnt have any other option for the gameplay! For the style: i had in mind "captain underpants" books series! its a kids book, in which the 2 main character draw silly comics, and i really like the silliness and the "easy to understand" vibe that they got.
Thank you so much for the curious question! i actually love talking about the creative process, and i think im gonna post some blog/vlog about this project since i want to keep working on this!
Oh I hope you do do the blog/vlog! I'm always interested in peoples creative process. Thanks for sharing!
nice
thank you!
Wow.... I've really never played this kind of platform game before. Hats off for the gameplay and, of course, for the ending popup :P ... Cool
thank you so much! it really means a lot to me!
A few issues, but it looks awesome.
thank you so much! i'm planning on working ont his more, so will try to improve and fix the game for the better!
