Absolutely! 2023 I was laid off from my company job and to stay sane between filling out job applications, I dove into game development tutorial hell. Following tutorials did help me at the beginning to learn UE5 (chose it for the visual scripting cause I'm terrible at coding syntax) but making small and learning skills for them projects helped the most. Instead of trying to learn everything at once, I learned what I needed for the project and then applied that to the next. This will be a rest stop on your journey of growth.
