I loved the overclocked NES Visual ! Indeed, so much particles at once, it would have struggle to render this. I quite did not understood the mechanics though, I finished the demo but I played without understanding what I was doing. What were all the different monsters ? And why when having 100 mini crystal does not transform into the one big one ? And the void ennemies were actually helping me gaining the crystals ? Anyway, I craved a bit of explanation, but aside that, the game is beautiful and funny and has a lot of potential for extension. Great job !

I think NES would struggle to have these amazing particles and glow effects. Great work! :)

So visually stimulating! The power up at the end of the demo was really satisfying, too, I would be curious to see how it'd play differently with the character controller tweaked slightly. It was really hard to dodge incoming attacks when I was attacking myself, and in a few occasions I found myself being knocked back by so many enemies that I had trouble breaking out of that knock back state and getting to safety. It's a fun concept and I'm excited to see where you take this next!

The aesthetics are wonderful, love the graphics, love the audio.
The principle of the game's design is also very very alluring. I wish there were some sort of proper risk to me taking damage versus the mild inconvenience of losing the energy I'd stored up (possibly taking damage or dying after a point? There doesn't seem to be a "lose" condition to balance the "win.") The only complaint I have is the movement; while blinking and gliding are quick and effective for getting around, I also feel there should be at base some reliable way to navigate the player character. My attacks seem to leave me too vulnerable, as I'm not able to walk fast enough to get out of the way, and the magic fast-movement options also take a minute to conjure, so I end up taking a hit anyway.
Regardless, I thought this one was a lot of fun! It fits that "survivors" style gameplay with a unique twist!

I'm reluctant to think that this game game would work as an NES functioning game, but besides from that, what I like about this game is the player feedback. It feels responsive when you attack and the animation when you do so is very smooth. I like this vampire survivors style game, very good :).

A bit grindy at times, but super clean presentation

This is a very cool entry.  First and foremost, the music is excellent -- I stopped at the title screen and just listened to it play through.  Upon starting the game I was very disoriented and it took me a while to get my bearings as to the rules of this universe and its objectives, and I mean all of that in a positive way.  It was fun to figure out and it all felt otherworldly.  I played it to the end and enjoyed it.  Upon playing a second time, I figured out the fast-movement mechanic (I spent the first play slowly dodging), and that was a nice as well.  The post-end romp was also fun.  The "overclocked" image was a funny take on the difficulty an NES would have had with this (my browser, Firefox/Mac, actually popped up a message about the memory use or similar while the game was loading, but it did ultimately load and play smoothly).  Nice work!

This game is amazing, I recognize you from the previous NES Jam edition and I was impressed by this one. The graphics, sound, and gameplay are all very polished, and the game is really enjoyable. Great job!

This is quite the experience, and I'm curious to see where it goes. It's very pretty and my device really struggles to hold it all, but once you get into it, it's real fun.

I lifted the curse and reached the end of demo.

Although I fear it would make a NES struggle the game was very fun to play. The overall staging and in particular the ending part are cool, the attack and feedbacks are satisfying and I enjoyed having to deal with the movement system and need to stand still to shoot.

I really like your recurring character by the way.

Very cool!

Very neat game, took me a minute to figure it out, but once I did I really liked it a lot. I love that on the page you put an NES with some added graphic power attached to it, like an NES 1.5 :D All the animations and effects are very well done. Very nice submissions, great job!
