Easy! I'll try and complete a couple of songs for it then :)

Howdy! I'm having a lot of fun making a musical for this jam that I've been wanting to realise for some time now. I really want to submit it for this jam, but I feel unsure If I can submit it be the due date. If it isn't possible, that's fine, would it be okay to extend the due date by a week, please? Thank you

I've been wanting to work on a musical that relates to this theme very much! This is the perfect opportunity for it. Because I don't think it would work as a game, would it be okay if I upload a fictional soundtrack of a musical, with it ofc still adhering to the gender bender them?

Thank you sir!

I think this is a great contender for winning this Jam! The movement reminds me a lot of the hallway levels in the NES Contra games, I think this is a really unique gameplay experience which if this were expanded into a larger game, I would definitely buy.

I think the pixel art looks delicious, I love the use of it on the map especially. I think the controls with the jumping are a little bit jank, but this will defo be a game I return to. For future submissions that I do, this is definitely the bar that I want to reach if I want to improve me skills as a game dev, so that I'll eventually surpass you and win this comp someday myself.

Thanks bro! For the cup you're meant to fill it to the faded line, and the balloons you have to press B when it turns red, otherwise it bursts.

Heya! I didn't take the time to put in controller bindings, but I've updated the front page to show the controls. Thank you for telling me the tasks and boss thing don't change, for me it does but I'll look into it. I also appreciate the patience and that you took the time to play my game :).

Heya! I'm making my own Punch Out Clone! I was wondering if I could take a look at your code only for reference to so I can learn programming. I hope that's possible, thanks! :)

Presh! Yeah I didn't want to think too much about it, I just wanted something to work given my current coding skill set.

Tanks!

I'm reluctant to think that this game game would work as an NES functioning game, but besides from that, what I like about this game is the player feedback. It feels responsive when you attack and the animation when you do so is very smooth. I like this vampire survivors style game, very good :).

If this game wins, I won't be surprised. Its colourful, mysterious and has enough content in it that I would feel I would buy this if it were listed as its own independent game. Great work. :)

I agree, when I'm not so busy with work I'll edit it as I don't think that counts now that the jam is done.

This game is hard, so it definitely feels like an NES game, haha, along with the graphics and music, which are good. I think the enemy aggression could be lowered a touch as I found progressing throughout the game a little too a little bit annoying; maybe space them out like in the NES Zelda. Other than that, superb work bro!

This was a stellar game! It's a unique gameplay mechanic that doesn't feel too confusing with gorgeous tile and sprite art. Job well done I say!

I really liked this! It's really solid, even with an issue with the third level. I also really want to know how you did the colour transition in Godot, as I've been really keen to learn how to do that for my own game. Again, solid, I'm sure you'll win, or get into at least the top 5. :)
