Really liked the art style, and the concept! I didn't have much time and couldn't finish it, but it's still a great game!
The art style of this one was strangely comfy. Really upped the experience for me. Good stuff!
Even though I went through eternal suffering during the ending sequence due to the difficulty, I still enjoyed the game. I liked the art style a lot and it was a good challenge.
The ending really is an emotional adventure, haha. I'm glad you liked our game and the challenge!
Thanks for playing all the way through! I know the game takes a while to understand fully, so I really appreciate you putting in the time!
Seemd frozen on safari and Firefox.
Yeah, google chrome works best for our game.
The art is amazing! I also like the game concept and rogue-like elements, plus the risk/reward-decisions around the shop upgrades as well as the lamp usage. There's a lot going on in the game and I felt like I could spend a lot more time with it to explore. I would have liked some improvements around the controls - movement felt frustratingly slow, even with the upgrade, and hitting enemies felt awkward, especially if they were too close to me. Overall, nice work!
I love the vibe! I love the shop concept (if I understood it right).
Like others, I did not really understand the game loop.
As others have said, I really like the art of the game. I'm a big fan of simple but effective, and this definitely hits the perfect spot. Like others, I was also slightly confused by the gameplay loop. It took me a little work to work out the mechanics, but in the end I think I got there!
i like the art and concept and mechanics but i honestly don't understand why i am losing, some dust things kills me every time, but otherwise the game has nice vibe good job!
I think we should have made the core gameplay loop more obvious than it currently is to help players understand their goal easier (so I agree with you).
Thanks for the kind words and feedback, axsiros!
Great game! Both the artstyle and the gameplay mechanics are terrific! I just feel like the soundtrack loop could be a little longer because it sounds very repetitive - maybe just duplicate the same loop and change one or two notes to keep the ears engaged!
Glad you liked our game! And I absolutely agree. The music definitely could have used more work. I'll keep your suggestion in mind when doing more music. Thanks for playing, Slon240!
Really great art style, love the drawn with few colors.
The art style was so cool. Loved the simple color scheme. Great atmosphere
Loved the unique art style! The light system added a nice twist too!
I really liked the unique art style. Using the lamp to reveal hidden things while managing the fuel resource was a good mechanic. I enjoyed it! Nice job!
Really nice! Spooky atmosphere and your artwork was really strong and consistent. The risk/reward of spending your total light on upgrades was good too.
Enjoyed it, Gonna go back to play more and see if i can light all the lanterns.
Thank you so much for your comment! Hope you enjoy playing it some more!
The atmosphere(?) graphics(?) are my favorite, so simple and so effectively creates a darksy(?) world it's just so spookily cutesy :3 The lantern, cavern, shop... You've created a cool little world.
Thanks a lot for making this!
Thanks Teron! Glad you liked our little doodles :)
