Yeah, like they said 👇, a well polished game. Very nicely done!

Edit: And having read I_AM_STUPID's comment below, I hadn't actually realised that my misses were causing enemies to spawn. With single shots it's possible to accumulate an enormous, possibly endless, score.

As others have said, the overall polish of your game is astounding, well done! Really liked the take on the theme, and it's a fun spin on typical bullet hell games!

Thank you!

Such an amazing game, the visuals, sound, gameplay, and how much it goes along with the theme is amazing, its very fun to play.

Thank you so much!

Very nice entry! The level of polish for a 3 hour game is insane. There is a design flaw that when you just shoot slowly and accurately you will never generate red bullets and you can just farm the score.

Developer

Thanks! There are some pretty big game flaws unfortunately 😅

Really amazing visual and sound polishing! It was really satisfying to shoot the boxes.

Gameplay wise, it is mostly about the accuracy of the shots. With that in mind, I only did single bullet shots at the start, and slowly increased my pace when the boxes are stacked together(with less of a chance to hit the wall). With that, I got a score of 4642(Idk if I saw it correctly)! Because of that, I suggest that some bullet that hit the box still bounces back---giving a really big but interesting challenge.

Great job!

Wow 4k is crazy! Thanks for the great feedback, glad you enjoyed it :)

Great game! It's very polished and responsive, the perfect hi-score game for a trijam. What worked best for me was to stay on the border of the screen and only dodge up & down while shooting in a general direction. It never felt necessary to drain my health for power, but I could probably achieve a better score that way. My best score was at about 489, but it kept rising for a second after I died.

Thank you! The balancing is a bit off but I’m glad you enjoyed it!
