My partner and I played several enjoyable rounds of this game together! (It's right up their alley because they love when they get to go CHOMP in games.) It was very enjoyable finding out various things about how the chomping works (you can chomp your own pieces! two pieces that would chomp each other instead swap places!) A very fun twist on Tic-Tac-Toe and my usual strategies definitely require some re-thinking here.
My only suggested improvement is it'd be good to have a new game button (
and that the full black-white spectrum *plus* the full white-purple spectrum is not really monochromatic).I will probably be coming back to this one to play more in the future! It's very satisfying.

This is the first time I’ve seen a twist like this on tic-tac-toe :O
Imagine if the opponent uses only the “eat” technique, it’d be almost impossible to compete ahaha
yeah, as with a lot of "variation on a classic game" games, balance is sort of difficult :p As it is, it is definitely the optimal strategy sometimes to stall forever..... woep

that said I actually messed it up on mobile... I think right now it just selects the canvas element for some reason D: Gotta fix that (；´∀｀)
Interesting concept, although I wasn't sure at first what I was supposed to be doing.
Fair criticism. The intent was that this be played with a friend, as with classic tic-tac-toe haha
I had actually also implemented a basic minimax cpu player for this too, but it ended up stalling a lot, not really being possible to win against, and not being very fun. So I excluded it :p
