How does your game incorporate the theme?
You control the Power Supply Rangers.

The Power Supply Rangers' mission is to ensure that the power supply never stops.

Each Ranger can only take care of the task assigned to their color (in a way, they each have their own power). You'll have to switch from one to the other to make sure nothing breaks in the power supply.

Did you use any sort of AI during the development of your submission?

No

Initially I thought I had to press the next key the arrow was pointing to in order to get it to spin. (for example, d for the arrow at the top pointing to the right). I was confused when that didn’t work and I only realized how it worked on my fourth game. Maybe it could be made more intuitive by allowing the matching key or the next key for rotation?

I liked how you had a full-blown menu screen with settings in just 48 hours, that’s impressive. Good lighting effects with the fans too.

Oh I'm sorry about it not being clear 😕

Thanks a lot for playing my game and for the advice!

I had so much fun playing this game. I like the idea of switching between robots. The game becomes really challenging when three kinds of events occur simultaneously. The music is a bit monotonic.  Btw the dust looks like blood clots at first glance LOL

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing my game! Happy you had fun 🙂

I enjoyed the chaos of keeping track of everything! I would love to see it expanded on with more robots. I just wish that it was possible to change robots without walking up to another robot

Thanks a lot for playing my game 🙂 Thanks a lot for the suggestion!

This was fun! Very stressful in a good way :D

The music got a bit repetetive but I still appreciate that you managed to get some in for such a short jam, good job! ^^

Thanks a lot ! ☺️ I'll try yours tomorrow!

Yeah I agree! I was so bored of it after 2 days 😂

Thank you! And hahah yeah I can imagine :D

This is a nice game.

More minigames and overcooked kind of stress or even coop competitions would make this more engaging.

Maybe the mouse sensitivity is a bit much, would be nice to have a sensitivity slider.

Congrats on releasing a 2d game with several mechanics and minigames in 2 days!

Developer

Thanks a lot ☺️

Yes I think there are a many ways to improve it!

Thanks for the advice!

I'll definitely try yours when I find the time!

The game is nice, I struggled a bit to get the red bot to work since the sucker was spacing out on a fan and all I could do was trigger the wrong interaction. I loved looping through WASD though !

PS: On my computer I thought the music was quite loud, but it's a minor issue since I could adjust it.

Thanks a lot for playing my game 🙂

I rlly liked switching between the three characters and stopping the issues. Took a bit to get used to controls and I don't think I understood how to play the purple character minigame (sry)😭😭but once I understood how to play I enjoyed my time.

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing my game 🙂 The purple one is responsible of the fans. He needs to turn them. You need to press the direction of the white arrow 🙂

Nice concept! It was easy to understand what was going on, very intuitive gameplay!
I like the idea in a comment of easily switching with 1-3 or something similar.

Developer

Thanks a lot :) Yep I agree!

Very cute concept and setting! It got me engaged really fast. I have one suggestion: what if you could switch characters directly by pressing 1-3 or at least shuffle through them with a seperate key and leave the use-key for only that purpose. I have two rationals for that:

  1. I accidentally switched characters too often with RED, because dust keeps generating right next to another character.
  2. The two seconds of walking to another character and switching are, compared to the rest of the game, just not fun.
Developer

Thanks a lot for playing my game and for your suggestion! I'll defintly try that :)

Oh wow this game felt very stressful but in a good way! Constantly balancing the tasks together with not losing track of where which color power supply ranger was was no easy task!

The only thing i noticed is that sometimes when one of the rangers was close to one of the task-objects it'd make it impossible to interact with without first moving them away, setting unique keys for dealing with tasks and swapping would help with that!

Overall a lot of fun!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing my game 🙂

Yeah I know this issue. It was a quick fix to a bug that occured if you keep spamming the swap button. It was not an optimal fix but the best I could do in such a short amount of time 😅

Love the style of your game! Impressive that it’s in 3D and was done in 48 hours.

Thanks a lot 🙂

This was fun! The swapping between robots felt really good, running around to find your other robots was fun and fit the genre really well. Menus look amazing, great work!

Developer

Thanks a lot ☺️ I'll try yours today!

I made it into the void! This robot is free from factory work! Haha. Cute idea but started to feel a little bleak the longer I played it. These poor robos just stuck in a room, endlessly repeating the same tasks. This is the future I guess ha

Developer

But how?? 😂 Thanks a lot for playing my game 🙂 I'll try yours today!

Super cool!! I liked this a lot actually. It was fun to balance the different mechanics. Well done, especially in 48 hours!!

Thanks a lot ☺️ I'll try yours today!

This is a really good game with great ideas! There’s a small freeze when the first issue appears in the web version, even on a pretty decent laptop, but no problem at all in the downloaded version (just like you mentioned in the description). Overall, a really nice little game. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot :) Yes, it's because of the particles, the first time I emit them, it freezes. I should try to load them during the loading time. I'll try your game now !
