How does your game fit the theme?
We based our idea around just getting started on hobbies and ideas you would keep putting off - finding time to begin on things you miss or never really got back into because other "more important" things got in the way.

Incredible quality with the art and music, it's super immersive and cozy. The piano mechanic was also super easy to get the hang of (I did it perfectly the second time, it was fun). Great work!

That minigame was definitely the most complicated part of the game, and building it turned out to be quite a challenge. But by your comment, it was definitely worth it.

Awww man, this one’s the best I’ve played so far! The music and the art were absolutely perfect. The idea of making us type to play the piano? Genius. I even loved the little detail of mapping the letters to black and white keys — so clever! I’m not usually a fan of these kinds of games, but you totally got me with this one.

I LOVE IT! Everything looks and sounds so warm and fuzzy and cozy. The artstyle is super gorgeous; the shading is very detailed and consistent (theres even bounce light what?!), Music and ambience is fantastic, i especially love the piano piece, gives off hopeful melancholy vibe. And having the room changing every passing day was really nice! (especially love the artwork having displayed from the painting minigame) Very well done guys!!

Super cute and poetic ! It got me thinking alot about retirement and free time, but i’m glad it ends on a positive note (otherwise i think i would have lost it). Its like a cute therapeutic art game !

This game is beautiful! Playing the piano was also fun, and I like how you get to try again if you missed some notes. I only wish it was longer (though I absolutely understand the scope due to the limited time). Great work!

The music and art were standout. Really really artistic in both senses. It was a little short, but the gameplay-story cross was really well. In a game about learning to slow down and enjoy free time, it makes sense to have a reduced focus on gameplay. Not just a brilliant game, but rather showing games as an artform, not just for entertainment

Super cozy game. I think the minigames where some of the most polished in the jam! I like the joke about all of the shades of blues and red sand green (although that did make me expect a color wheel to draw haha) but liked the mix and matching even more.
The art was really good. Like REALLY good. I liked how the character said "maman" (i‘m french :D)
Overall great entry and it deserves all the attention it‘s gotten and more!

people often come in game jams to make something new or technically impressive.
its not often devs come in with the objective to make you feel
this game made me feel, and thats something most game jam games miss. is it the most technically impressive game on this jam? no. but it might be one of the most memorable and in the end i think thats even more important.

Again, we put emotion right at the front for this game and we couldn't be happier it comes across how it does. Exactly what we aimed for; not the most technically impressive or groundbreaking in that regard, but more just a great story :)
Beautiful and bittersweet. What a lovely experience. I'm sure your artist already knows they knocked it out of the park, but the music is great too, and I loved the painting part, felt like a mini therapy session. Such a wonderful game, it could really be made into a full release easily. My favorite so far!
