I have sent you a discord DM as there is no way I can respond to such a thoughtful and meaningful comment without a conversation of some form. Thank you ever so much for this.

I am so sorry - this jam is messing with my brain cells I swear. Thank you for playing, yours is still on my list nonetheless <3

Have played! Is fun :D

If you're still looking! Added yours to my short list for tonight when I have my last bit of time to play some.

Ah thank you so much!
You know, even when prototyping, I never made the relation between the haikus in Tsushima and the choice based system but that makes a great point, oh my XD
Thank you for that parallel and all the kind words, I'll make sure Grace (the artists for the paintings) sees those.

Ahhhh, to be the best you have seen means a lot! Thank you for playing our game, we worked extremely hard and for all parts to be loved that much means a lot <3

Ah that's amazing! It was a feeling I think we all feel as creatives but we wanted it to end more positively than it often does.
I'll be sure to make sure our artists see all the comments on art as well <3

Ah amazing! I'm also a pianist so I was quite annoying to our dev about how to make it feel gratifying to a player - glad it's not just me
I've added it to my list!

Thank you very much! I spent a lot of time during the jam trying out a more atmopsheric style for the BGM so that the traditional piece in the minigame would stand out, glad it worked out!

Ah the One-Step team, hello and thank you for making me realise how bad at platformers I am XD
Thank you so much for coming from stream, we know our game is short so most of the content was shown so it means even more.

Thank you so much - our artists were truly astonishing at managing to get that storybook style and it did so much for the game!

Coming from BRAMBLETALE?! To hear our game complimented by one as amazing as yours is stellar, thank you so much :OOO
The narrative really seems to be hitting, we're so glad (especially little old writer me).

Thank you so much, especially for coming after stream where the majority of the content was already shown XD
Our team worked extremely hard - thank you.

Ah thank you. We tried to go for a very natural and realistic narrative so I'm glad it lands!

That is so unbelievably sweet of you; to call our story and little slice of life a demonstration of games as an artform is not something any of us saw coming in the jam but it fills us with such pride. Thank you for taking the time to play our game!

Seeing this happen to you live in the Discord was absolutely impeccable timing XD
Glad I managed to get our target audience down correctly with this dialogue and story!!!

Thank you so much for playing!
We originally had scoped 4 mini games but jam time just didn't allow for them to be polished so yeah, v dialogue heavy - even for a narrative game.

Coming from your team? That means a lot - thank you :)

Absolutely understand that. Not to keep prattling on with what you already said, even outside of a jam setting, to get code to go right and feel right in a way that works is hard! That’s why it’s kind of been Shovel’s mantra that even if you just submitted, you’ve done amazingly and deserve praise - cause you do! I’m glad you had fun at the very least and I’m sure you’ll continue to do so (like me! And so many others!).
