Good job submitting this project. The music and sound effects make it a nice atmosphere to get into.

As it it quite an incomplete project, I suspect that there is a lot that you guys weren't able to get into the game by the jam's deadline. On the mechanics side, I think the obvious problem is that player don't have a good way to get back up to the surface once they dig down. I also think the lamp drain rate is too quick for the pace of the game.

Another strange choice is the thumbnail, which sorts of feel quite misleading, because as the game starts you don't see the person on the thumbnail cover, and it creates confusion.

Thank you so much for taking the time to play our game and share your thoughts — we really appreciate it! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere; we spent a fair bit of time fine-tuning the audio, so it’s great to know that came through.

You’re absolutely right that the game is quite incomplete. With a short timeframe and no artist on the team, we had to make a lot of quick and sometimes unconventional choices — the thumbnail included, haha. As newcomers to both game jams and game dev in general, we focused more on learning and experimenting than on visual polish this time around.

Your feedback on the mechanics is spot on. The lack of a way back to the surface and the fast lamp drain are both things we were aware of but didn’t get to refine in time. They’re definitely high on the list if we revisit the project after the jam.

Thanks again for the kind and constructive feedback we will for sure take this into the next game!
