End life plan
The game will always stay downloadable, and I have no intent on taking it down. If for some reason itch.io ever goes down and people show interest in it, I will do my best to get the game out there through some other platform or service, or through direct contact.
I also plan to keep working on this game anyways so it should be available on other services eventually.
Transparency note
All parts of the game were created during the jam.
There are only two things I did not create:
- Buildings
- Music for Main Menu and Combat
Both were found as royalty free everything free assets.
I added animations to player and enemy models using Mixamo.

The animations and voxel art of the game are pretty good! The choice of music was also very good. Nice job! :D
Great looking game. The powerups felt weak overall, and I think it would have been more extra ordinary.
Very enjoyable submission! I had a great time playing it. However, I would have preferred it if the power-ups had descriptions before picking them up, and if there was an alternative method of attacking without using the mouse (I had to use the touchpad)
Thanks for playing! I appreciate the feedback. I definitely should've put it somewhere but you can also use K and J to attack. Didn't think about touchpad users, will keep this in mind for future jams!
Hey !
I love this game bro , great idea! keep up...
I will be also happy if you rate my game : /jam/stop-killing-games-game-jam/rate/3724252
This is a really fun game! Great interpretation of the theme. I enjoyed the upgrade system, the cool main menu, and the smooth movement system. Nice job! Also, if you have some time, let me know what you think of my game!
I love the art in this game! and the upgrade system is really cool with the escalating difficulty, again love the style well done.
The lifetime and combat mechanism are nicely implemented in my opinion, the only thing to improve I can think of is the power ups on the ground can be displayed more clearly, you can put description of them when the character come near to them or bigger icon. Anyway, good game!
Wow, I loved everything about this, the combat is good, and hard! Took a while to get used to it but after that it felt very nice, I think difficulty wise it's pretty well balanced, you get better as you keep playing. Graphics and sounds are great as well. Only thing I would improve is the "icons" of the power ups to be clearer or bigger so you can easily tell what they do, and once you play a couple times you recognize them easily. But it's a minor detail, great job!
Edit: maybe just assigning different colors for different effects would be enough, not sure how many power-ups are!
Agreed on the icons. Will update them in the future. Thanks for playing!
The character design is super cool, it really makes you wonder about the lore. I would say that I struggled with attacking direction and speed but overall I really enjoyed the roguelike mechanic and style.
Congrats on the submission!
Really challenging and I liked that!! It took me a bit to get used to the movement and combat but finally managed to get to the fourth round. The artstyle choice feels so good on this, love the vibes!!
Hey, thanks for playing! I appreciate you taking the time to learn the combat and movement. Given mixed reviews on difficulty, I think in the future, I will prioritize adding a setting for difficulty to cover a wider range of players from casual to hardcore.
Looking forward to beating your game!

It seems that some people are struggling with the combat. The game is tough! I assumed this would happen since I have a lot more hours on the game than someone just trying it out for the first time. If you're having trouble I'd recommend watching the gameplay video, it should help to give some pointers on how to approach enemies and keep them from damaging you. Spacing is key! With the right build, you can get pretty far.
Thanks in advance for playing my game and good luck if yours is also part of the jam! Let me know if you are able to get past round 6, I'll be impressed!

What an interesting art style, I love it! I probably just need to git gud, but this was insanely hard for me. Your attacks have a short range, they take a long time, and you have to dodge enemies quickly. Very tough combo, I got past the first round only once and even then I didn't have enough time left to do much of anything. Not being able to free-aim beyond the eight angles of movement was frustrating too, especially since you have to take into account the fact that your weapon fires from your hand.
True, the combat is hard. Watching the gameplay video might help a bit. There's a certain style you have to adopt in order to keep the enemies stunned to avoid damage. It's a lot about keeping the right distance between you and the enemy. Agree about the free aim for the ranged attack though. I plan to change it so that you aim with your mouse instead. For now I'd just primarily use the melee :)
Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked the art style!
It's a good concept! I liked the art style, especially all the animations.
I had a lot of trouble with the combat, personally. I got past the first round, though.
Upgrading between rounds was nice as well.
Yes, the combat is definitely challenging. You have to make sure to keep your distance or you'll get swarmed quickly. Using the slide mechanic can be useful for that. In the future I plan to add some combos (as well as modifying the ranged attack) which should help with the fluidity.
Thanks for playing!
Interesting choice for a weapon. The combat felt a little weird at first, but after a while it clicked with me. I like the voxel graphic style. I think it has great potential if you add more enemies and weapons in the future! Keep up the good work!
I liked the unusual voxel-y models for characters in this game, and progression system seems pretty interesting. I wish the combat was just a tad more responsive - right now the attack wind up animation feels very long, but that's a thing that's very hard to fine tune during such a limited time and without lengthy play testing.
Great entry, keep up developing more stuff!
Thanks for playing! Did you try using the regular melee attack? That one is a lot more responsive. It's just the ranged attack that takes a bit to wind up.
Cute game! I love the art style!
Good work! :)
Cool game. Fighting felt little bit clunky at first but once I started combining it with the sliding mechanic it felt really good. I feel a potential here.
character design is Very good
Make more weapons :)
Will do 🫡
Cool game! Love the voxels and the authenticity.
Wow! One of the best entries I've seen, so many mechanics and I can see how much work was put into this. Hats off to you. Also love the little yoyo watch weapon that I have XD
