I got high hopes for the game after seeing the splash arts and the title visuals. But the rest is, well, not as impressive. The pixel arts is pretty good, but the choice of using a 3D character just seems out of place.

I'm sorry to say that the controls of the platforming is just too jank to be enjoyable.

I kinda like the short glimpses of the writings I was able to see before I stopped playing from my frustration with the controls.

Sorry, we let you down, Dad. Thanks for giving it a try, though!

Hey, we actually ended up having very similar ideas/games for the Jam. Our divider is push pull but we debated having it be movable via the mouse or keyboard also. I'd love for you to check out our game and chat about how we both used dividers that move to reveal and hide different overlapping levels. It would be cool to talk with someone who faced the same challenges. If interested please use this link not the one below my name /jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3776541

Very cool idea. Sometimes i got stuck in the walls, but still had a lot of fun!

Nice twist in the switching realities mechanics and the characters look cute!

Fun concept, I did read first about the 3 dots at the top for the last level to know what to do, good job!

Good stuff, enjoyed it, love the idea, and the tacky art fits so well. However I am stuck at this level, is it intentional that it can't be beat?

Developer(+1)

Thank you! for playing and for the compliments. That level introduces the 3 dots at the top (which can be dragged and dropped). Sorry for introducing a new mechanic without teaching 😅 we ran out of time

Whaaaaaaaaaaat. It's just so clever. And I have no idea how you coded that. Puzzle platforming is bold to do in a GMTK jam as a lot of people will do it, but you've managed to do something : original, with a good progression from easy to hard, and technically impressive.

One small UI element that wont affect my rating but : I could put the slider out of the screen and it's then hard to drag it back. You should constrain the X position between limits.

Developer

you are too sweet, thank you so much. We were lucky to have Ryan, Millie, and Jingyu (the inventors / prototypers of the results you see). Thanks for being so kind ♥

The mechanics are cool, very fun

the game is kind of difficult to get at first, but then i managed to complete all the levels except the last one! i got the flag in this position, but didnt know how to fully reveal it. i also think the application of the theme is a bit questionable. i was considering i was travelling through these dimensions, not looping. but oh well. good job the 3d graphics mixed with 2d were pretty cool!

Developer

Noob_97XD, you are SO RIGHT, it's just like how in life, it can be kind of difficult at first, but then we always manage to complete our challenges. Great job! I am so proud of you. Thanks for playing

I don't understand the game

Then you do understand it

If you don't accept criticism, you shouldn't be making games.

Cool main mechanic and well designed levels with some clever solutions!

Unique idea with nice execution, my favorite part was sliding that reality thingy in the middle lol it was somewhat satisfying for me.

Yo man, i love the polish, i think there's a little problem when there's to load a new scene but it is a little one. Liked the gameplay and THE ART AND ANIMATION OMG
