How does your game fit the theme?
The main battle mechanic in the game involves looping through multiple attacks in a line to finish off enemies, as well as the character being in a time loop (with the rewind mechanic and such). Originally we planned on leaning a lot more into the theme by having the line loop into itself in different ways, but that proved to be unachiavable in the time frame given, so we decided to settle for less in favor of a more finished experience. 😄 - Rathecke

I really enjoyed this game. The art and music were really nice. My dumb ass thought I was on the right on the first fight, so I healed a bunch when I was winning and could have won hahah Nice job.

The art and music are amazing! The game has greast vibes and atmosphere.

I loved the mechanic of chosing a sequence and seeing repeat, but it took me a while to get all the relationships between them (i'm still not sure the final result of each combination, just trust whatever shows the green icon)

i found that being able to rewind made kind of trivial, or at least a game of speed - to find the best response for each turn. maybe if each enemy had a different pattern of attacks that i had to memorize to respond or something, or if i could only see the first few movements they choose, it would have more weight.

Still, great combat system, character design, background effects, music and everthing else. FODA DEMAIS

I kind of didn't have it in me to play past a couple of rounds, but mad kudos on the gameplay: really liked the idea and how it played. Could be a nice battle mechanic in a "big" game

Also, great art and music+sound design, yours is a great team!

A bit confusing, but insanely creative and with neat visuals.

The game looks great and I love the sprites and background! The idea is also good, but a bit confusing at the start. I enjoyed it!

This is a very cool idea and I would love to see it get extended some day :)

Developer(+1)

hey, thanks  a lot for playing! we definitely want to take this further in the future! :D

Looove the sprite work in this! The backgrounds are really awesome as well, really gave me a mix of earthbound and deltarune vibes! The mechanic is pretty cool! I just wish I could see which buttons land which moves during the battle, I quickly found myself just relying on a single direction and undoing whenever a red icon appeared

Developer(+2)

Thanks for playing our game!
About the buttons, we planned to have them appear, but we ran out of time to add more stuff to the game.
That said, we might add it in a future update for the game, so thanks for the feedback!

I couldn't quite tell what the issue was but I couldn't get it working. It looks really cool from the screenshots, i'll come back and try again

Hi, could you explain it in a little bit more detail about what you did to open the game? Also, could you say which version you're trying to open (Windows, Web or Linux)?
