Genius name and idea! I never thought of the fact that 'loop' backwards is 'pool'. I also really like the whole progression and that you can choose between different paths. The audio really fits the vibe, but sometimes the music is tonally unfitting, probrably due to some overlapping loops or layers.

Very cute arts, and the overall audio is not bad. I love the autobattler genre, and this felt pretty fun to me.

The gameplay side is a bit unbalanced (understandable for a jam game), but also I was a bit confused why there are some choices that seem to be obviously better than the others (like a breeding choice that is all green). It takes away a bit from player having to make interesting decisions.

The gameplay loop is pretty addictive, well done with that! I noticed that the fishes are generated randomly from a selection of body parts. You could also add a system to it that takes parts like fins and tails from parent fishes and evolves the child fish using those, I think it adds a lot to have a custom fish each time.

Art is nice, but a bit weird

Neat idea and gorgeous art! A little random though, and easy to get stuck in a very long battle - but there's definite potential there. Well done!

Great game. Endlessly swimming as a torment and telling bad jokes to other fish is totally my vibe. I loved the art and I think the idea is simple, yet engaging and I liked the twist with the fish. Only 2 suggestions: -
- would be great if you could see your current stats when mating with other fish.
- once I beat the wizard, I could not progress the game. I assume the loop was supposed to go on? Or am I just too stupid to continue?

Wow, i really like the art and the relaxing music. Also the whole mating idea is quite unique to me.
Maybe there should always be a drawback so there is now obvious choice when mating and maybe you could add more information on what is on the path (mating partners and enemy's) 

Cute game! It was pretty hard in general, I found that sometimes I deal very little damage to an enemy so I just sit there until they slowly beat me
